“Well stocked clean store. The manager stays on top of things. Saw him, helping to stock merchandise. He helped me find a couple of items that I failed to locate.Shopping experience was A+.As I was checking out, I noticed the manager helping check customers out as all checkout clerks had lines.The store definitely reflects his involvement and hard work.”
“I absolutely love this place! They have such a huge variety of produce and specialty items. The workers are always ready to help if you need anything. The market is always clean and there's plenty of space to get around. I love that this is a family business. I've also asked about specific products and they do everything they can to get it in stock. On my visit today they had beautiful decorative pumpkins and gourds and mums of all colors on sale!”
“This is a smaller grocery store, but they have a great variety of items! The prices are budget friendly. Their products are high quality. The produce that I've bought has been excellent! I only hope they make a cashier available for the elderly customers. I'm ok with the self check-out. However,other patrons struggle to use those & bag items all by themselves. The employees (stocking merchandise) are helpful throughout the store, but it would be good to have a designated person up front. I enjoy shopping here. I just want the older folks to have a less stressful experience buying their items in the store.”

“Best gas station in the bayou area Sonny has always been great and his crew/family I've had a vape be faulty he replaced it no questions let me try it before I left was very happy hands down best customer service around and everythings priced just right always willing to help 100% recommend stopping by if your in the area for any gas station needs”
“Easy to find. Was open late. Needed one thing and it took 5 minutes to find and another minute to figure which one I wanted. Check out was fairly quick. Personell were helpful.”
“I was visiting Mobile for Mardi Gras. Introduced to this store by family. When leaving we made the 30 min detour opposite of home to visit this store! Everyone was helpful and friendly making it a very pleasant experience. It's a must that I patronize them every time I visit going forward!”
“They have everything and anything you need for home repairs. And great customer service. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and will continue to do so because of how easy it is to find most of what I need when doing any types of repairs, and because of the employees. Not to mention how cost efficient they are!”

“At one POINT I almost STOPPED coming to Rouses reason Covid had just hit, ONLY had 1 cashier and a bagger and some stockers during the time of my visit, had what appeared to be 2 managers standing at the return desk and I guess it was the other cashier that would be working, at this TIME Rouses had a great sale my reason for always coming HERE, so the line started to get longer and customers getting frustrated, I understood bc the cashier and the bagger were young, so the people that was in front of me and behind me I excused myself told them I’m about to go and get HELP so as I get to the counter I asked the guy manager about someone helping your cashier out bc this makes no sense with two of y’all behind the counter and another one waiting to count a register, as I walked away a lady manager asked what the PROBLEM was and I explained to her ma’am you see these kids out here struggling and NOT one person came to HELP them, and please do NOT get an attitude bc I’m one to write reviews and call cooperate bc this is my HARD earned money that I’m bringing to your place of employment to keep you with a job, after that I proceed to go back to the line and told the people that held my place that someone is coming to HELP, so as the cashier proceeds to come to her register she had an attitude and that drew the straw, so me I went home and called and HO and sure enough I received a phone call back immediately and that what made me continue to give them my money bc of the swift response that should’ve been HANDLED at the store.”
“We are visiting down here for my husband's job and needed some groceries, which are limited where we're staying. This store had a really good selection and the prices were very reasonable. You can get pretty much all of your essentials here and the staff was extremely friendly. I'd definitely come back.”

“Clean and the girl at the register was really friendly. I wish I had looked at her name tag. They have new check out system which is great because we used to have to wait forever for credit/debit to go through. WTG Dollar General!! The store was a little under stocked. I didn't get what I went in there for but I did find some snacks on sale!!”
“Last stop before the island! Gas was decently priced here compared to other stations as you get closer to Dauphin. I loved this little place. They had a deli, market, pharmacy, and the hardware store connected. It was cute and gave off small town vibes. They had a large selection of what may be hard to find chips and drinks in other locations. Many locals picking up medicine or buying hardware supplies. Great little "hometown" market.”
“Great service, awesome food! Lowkey and relaxed, we're immediately made welcome. Sitting down had room to ourselves and were eating soon afterwards. Menu is varied and affordable. Great place for good cheap eats! Recommend michelatas and camarone tacos, make sure to get avocado side: best I've ever had from coast to coast.Highly recommended!!”
“Lovely little hometown market. They had almost everything I was looking for. The only thing missing was a specific type of Goat Cheese, and it was not a big deal for me. Prices are a bit higher than I am used to. Clean and friendly staff. I would recommend going here to 1) support your local small business owner, 2) to find everything you need heading your way to the island.”
“These places are everywhere. They are not as big and unwieldy as Walmart. The prices are close to the big box stores and you don't have to cover acres to find things. We found just what we needed in less than 5 minutes. We waited less than 5 minutes at checkout. The cashier was pleasant and helpful. It was a good experience.”
“There is easy access from major roads in the area. There was plenty of parking so we didn't have far to walk. The people were helpful and pleasant. The store was well laid out and most everything I needed was where I thought it was. The self check out really speeds things up.”
“OMG! The selection of drinks was REALLY impressive. Actually, the selection of everything was very nice. I’ll be back for a lot of things I saw that I didn’t even know I needed.Staff was super friendly and made me feel so welcome. Found my favorite eggnog gelatin and can’t wait to make it.”

“Nice, clean store and for the most part everyone's polite,, most of the time it's busy, but you won't have to wait long. Checkout goes pretty fast. Only complaint is that the shelves are almost always kinda bare, it's hit or miss if they have what u need in stock.”

“In my opinion, I think this is the best Neighborhood Walmart in Mobile. It seems organized. I may even consider driving a little extra farther, passing the Neighborhood Walmart that's closer to my home, to go this Walmart on Cottage Hill Rd regularly.”

“Been going there for years and I have never had any issues with customer service. Only issue I have is they close before I get off work. Wish they'd atleast stay open til 10pm.”
