Went in to pay on my bill to get my service reconnected because it was freezing cold and they would not work with me despite me having sick babies. Was able to come up with the funds but the lady made me call customer service in order to get it reconnected. It was a 35 min wait on the phone....

Alabama Power Company has some unprofessional staff, I was called from a staff member to get verification permission for a person to have Electrical Service Transferred into their name, and I said No! And an Alabama Power Company employee from the Saraland Al office did it anyway without my consent, noting in writing from me, and now I am left with a billing at the address, and how can you transfer service and there’s still a balance, leaving me liable for the unpaid balance, and the person have no balances to pay. Very unprofessional as I can see on behalf of the Saraland, Al Employee

Customer service representative wasn't nice. The only thing my mother wanted to do was ask a question and obtain a form in reference to people with disabilities. She acted like we was bothering her. I asked how do I put my husband's name on my bill she just asked for his name and told me to have a good day it's on the bill. I've been in customer service for over 22 years and never treated anyone like that in my life even if I didn't care for their attitude.

I locked my keys and phone inside my auto and had to wait for someone to bring a spare the staff as well some of the customers was extremely helpful
