I guess the best way to describe this particular Walmart Supercenter is to say that it is a Walmart Supercenter. I usually stay in the Saraland area whenever business takes me to Mobile, Alabama and this particular Walmart Supercenter is convenient to my hotel and I have been to this particular location regularly over years. I have never had an issue with this particular Walmart Supercenter, though I can say that I have never had a particular stellar experience here, either. Luke I said, the best way to describe this place is that it is your typical Walmart Supercenter. With that being said, I guess I will give it three stars for a middle of the road experience, or rather a middle of the road history of experiences here.

No complaints here, this was an OK shop where I stopped for a few groceries for the RV so that I wouldn't have to eat at restaurants and such along the way. The store is reasonably well stocked and tidy. I found what I needed. The cart corrals were in okay shape with most of the carts brought back to the store. Bonus star for allowing RVs to park here overnight without hassle. Thanks for that! [Review 17346 overall - 204 in Alabama - 864 of 2022.]

Spent over $500 there today on toys for our sons birthday, I noticed one of the toys was broken halfway through checkout so I asked if there was anyone who could run and switch it out for me because I had a sprained ankle and the lady refused. I understand she couldn't leave, I just asked if she could call someone and she said no & you'll just have to walk I don't know what to tell you darlin. It took me 10 minutes to get across the store just to get to checkout the first time with this ankle. A little compassion goes a long way. I know they are busy and understaffed but I personally wont return to this location to spend any money because their customer service sucks! And honestly I kind of want to return what I have just to not support it.

If I could I'd leave zero stars, but that's not an option. This is the worst Walmart ever. They never have the things I need and if they do happen to have what I need then there's no price. Their never staffed properly. To find someone that works in any given department is a job in itself. I also think that probably because of management the few people that work here are extremely disgruntled. I say this because I've been to other Walmart stores where I find plenty of happy people working, with prices on all the items, and selves fully stocked.

Super clean and easy to find the items I need. I will say that I came in a while back and witnessed a manager being very disrespectful and hollaring at an employee in front of customers. That's the reason Im not giving 5 stars.

Store is clean, and I can find what I need the majority of the time. They've been rearranging aisles lately, so today was a scavenger hunt to find my regular items. No worries, I like a little fun and games. Produce department is hit or miss. Sometimes fruit and veggies are fresh and crisp, and sometimes you get home to find hidden bruises on fruit and mold in the strawberries and grapes. This is why I docked a star. Checkout lines are always long, so I just use the self checkout. Restrooms are always clean too. The grocery pickup has been a game changer for us though. It's nice to place my order and just drive up, park, and load it up without ever stepping foot inside.

This location drives me crazy! I only go here because it's just a few minutes Down the road from my house. I do not go often. I usually will drive to a further location. This location is always out of stock of so many items, it's absurd. The department management is ridiculous. It amazes me how I can go to another location and find all I need but this one looks like they are going out of business! I definitely go to Rouse's or Publix for produce or meat. I will pay more for freshness and friendliness.

I was visiting from out of town and this is a typical Wal mart. It was not overly crowded and I was able to check out with ease.

Definitely an older Walmart and the parking lot has a very tight spaces for a full size pickup. They were out of number of items that I was wanting to pick up and so I placed an order from Amazon after I got back to the campground.

While in the Electronics department, myself and an elderly gentleman were browsing for what we needed. The gentleman asked for help. Unfortunately the lady right near us was just a vendor and very quick to let him know this. Keep in mind we are literally 3 feet from the register area where no less than 3 employees are discussing work related things together with zero customers there to be assisted. The vendor imposed on the conversation to ask if someone could help this man. Grudgingly an employee huffs over and asks "what do you need?" The gentleman replies that he is looking for an IPad. "Do you sell these?". He is definitely not in the right area. Well not on the right isle anyways but her reply... "Yes, we sell them but I don't have any keys". *staring at man.. *blink blink*.. "Sorry". Ummm... WHAT?? Elderly man walks away. I'm completely shocked. I go to the register and ask for the department manager expecting a long wait for someone deeply involved in some project far within the walls of the vast Wal-Mart. She walks up from the other isle. The other isle! Are you kidding me?? She has the keys too! WHAT!!?? So my take away from Wal-May today is that they could care less about selling an IPad. They care even less about the customer. Lazy and complacent. I guess my expectations were way over the top. "Hello Sir. can I help you find something?" "We definitely have those IPads. Let me show you where they are." "Sir if you want to take a minute to look at these I will run right over here and get the keys from my Manager. When I get back I can tell you all about each one and some prices. I'll be right back." So how was my experience? I was disgusted frankly. Went to the front to find the Store Manager. Unwelcoming employees at the front advise me while looking at me sideways that he is at lunch and just went. He will be gone a while. He only comes up to the front for important things. WHAT? Basically they do not want a problem being related to this Manager. Whatever. Not going to say I won't shop here but I will continue to shop everywhere else I can to avoid it. Why can't people just be decent. Gheez.

Worst Walmart I've ever been in. Understaffed & undertrained. Disappointing for Saraland.

I came in early to cash a money gram since I've called the store and was told the money center opens at 7, got here at 730 to see that it doesn't open until 8 waited around and was told to buy something because I'm considered to be just loitering, left this location will never go back again

I don't have enough positive things to say about the Wal-Mart pharmacy staff here. For the volume of business they do, they are incredibly efficient ! Thanks for great service. Haven't had any issues with the rest of the store.
