I have called both the Salon and one of the therapists. I left messages to call me as I wanted to make an appointment! Neither of them has bothered to return my call. Their message says they work by appointment only yet they won’t answer the phone!!!

I get massages regularly. The type of massage I seek and the type of service I desire. I came to this location twice this week. The first time I was very dissatisfied with the massage but thought maybe it was just my first time and maybe I wasn't clear on what I wanted or my expectations.Today I returned for a follow-up visit. This time I literally told the therapist I only want my head, neck and shoulders massaged. I was as specific to state "primarily C1 and C2" and pointed to that portion of my neck. The massage started the same and was basically the same as the first visit. The therapist worked on my back for more than thirty-five minutes before even grazing the sore part of my neck. She may have worked on the C1 and C2 area of my neck maybe three minutes before asking me to roll over. Once on my back she continued to use a similar technique as the first time. My clavicle area was massaged with little to no attention devoted to the area I requested to be worked on.I am very simple. I am easy to work with. I'm not the type to complain about anything, especially a massage. But when you take the time to schedule a massage and you go as far as to tell the therapist exactly where you want the massage to be fucused, it is very irritating when the only area you want massaged is the only area that seems to be avoided. My neck is very sore and it is very sore in a specific area. I specifically pointed out the affected area to the therapist and after two one-hour massages I feel no better. I didn't mention this to the therapist because I assume if my concerns were important they would have been addressed during the massage. I did somewhat direct the therapist during the massage. I made it clear that I didn't need my legs massaged and continued to ask her to devote the remaining time to focus on my neck only. Overall it has just been a bad experience. The therapist seems to ve knowledgeable about massage but just seems to wander off into her own world and disregard the requests. I am quite sure I don't need anyone to tell me where I hurt or where I need a massage. I booked the appointment myself so I am confident I know what I want. I was courteous enough to go back a second time just to make sure there was no communication issue. The fact that the same problem occurred during the second visit tells me I was right to begin with.I would appreciate someone making this right. I don’t know what makes it right but I am open to suggestions. I thank you for taking the time to read this post. I hope this post benefits the next guest and the salon as a business. This post should not be construed as any attack on the salon. Generally the salon seems sanitary, professional and respectful. The only discrepancy was in the massage itself.Sincerely, Randy D. Pittman
