Chevron is known for serving the best breakfast from a gas station you will ever have, highlighted by their famous and fantastic breakfast gumbo. The combination of eggs, grits, breakfast sausage, conecuh sausage, bacon, scallions and hot sauce is absolutely heavenly. The bacon is some of the crispiest and most flavorful. They also offer good breakfast biscuits and full plates. For other meals, they have the best ribs, which are really good, tender, and have the right amount of bark and BBQ. Sides like mac and cheese and turnip greens with smoked bacon are highly recommended. The food is worth a stop if you're hungry and in the area, with many customers planning to return.
Best breakfast from a gas station you will ever have... their breakfast gumbo is fantastic...and that is saying something because I normally don't like grits...but the combination of eggs, grits, breakfast sausage, conecuh sausage, bacon, scallions and hot sauce...is absolutely heavenly. I eat it every time I have a chance.
