This location is very convenient for me and I frequent it often. I am so thankful for the kind clerk. She greets you with a smile and is very informative in regards to the boxes available for shipping. She really goes the extra mile for you and I truly appreciate her. A little kindness goes a long way?

Excellent location for Ross Bridge area residents. Superior, cordial, professional customer service, in my experience. The outdoor box and the indoor receptacle for outgoing mail and packages add to this location's value.

Horrible phone service. A recorder always. Still cannot transact business over the local phone. No one never ever answers the phone.Persons are always Courteous when entering to transact business at this location.

The bad reviews are for them being closed.They have some of the nicest people I have ever met working here. Could not be more pleased with my po box and the wonderful staff.

I love this post office, everyone is SO KIND and they always take such wonderful care of my packages. There are 2 other post offices that are closer to my home, and I actually drive further just to go to this one. I am so appreciative and thankful for them!

The Shannon Post Office is my favorite post office in the Birmingham metro area! It’s small—which means no waiting in line and no parking problems. They don’t have a huge selection of mailing supplies and they don’t sell retail items like cards and gift cards. I’m willing to work around their weird hours because the staff is friendly and easygoing and their service is with a smile. It’s about 3 minutes away from my home in Ross Bridge, which makes it super convenient, too. This place is a hidden gem.

We made 3 trips to mail a package and they were closed each time. All of our trips were between 9 and 4. There were several other people there as well. Can this post office be kept open between 9 and 4?
