I’m fairly certain it’s the general manager or some form of management but the tall women with black hair is known to steal out of the customers bag as they check out!
Make a habit to get your receipts and check your bags BEFORE leaving the building!!

Not a surprise they’re on board with DEI!! Went in and ALL Black Hair Products were GONE! 90% off for 2 boxes that were left. Shelby is “one of those towns” so I’m not surprised.

Visited this location on December 22nd at noon. The young man was very helpful and polite great customer service was provided. His coworker a tall female who was stocking was rude, and hateful and let it be known it was a great inconvenience for her to provide any customer service. She belongs in the warehouse away from the customer's.

I was in this store a few weeks ago and the DG employee came around the corner as I was finishing a text and putting my $1000 cell phone back in my purse. Now Everytime I go in they follow and stalk me the entire time. I'll be going elsewhere from now on. The employees are usually on their personal phones or one girl working there was more into nursing a wild bird on her shoulder than checking customers out. Not sure what the problem is at this location but the priority in not the customers.

This is my 3rd time coming to this store and had to deal with bad customer service! I'm not sure what the cashier's name due to the fact that she always wears a jacket. I don't know what the issue is but I'm hoping it's not because of the color of my skin. She is friendly to everyone else.

I tried this store out because the manager at the store in Columbaina is very rude. Well this store isn't any different. They don't speak or anything. Greeting a costumer goes a long way. I could say more but nobody cares. So I'm done with this store. I'll spend my money where I feel appreciated.

Just the like the other reviews, the lady is very rude and seems like she hates her job and life and takes it out on the customers. Gonna start taking advantage of the surveys so I can at least get $3 off for this messiness.

The store manager at Shelby, AL location is the rudest most hateful public service representative I have ever encountered!! She is always like this. I cringe at the thought of having to go there during the day hours because, she is most likely going to be there. I cannot believe this lady hasn’t been fired by now. Every body in the area who shops there constantly complains about her!!! I’ve tried to search for the district manager to bring this to their attention. Hopefully they will read this post.

I get my whole milk here now & it’s always fresh (I can’t say the same for the nearest grocers), they always have my sugar free Gatorade, …decent beer & toilet paper prices. Isles are crammed w/stock to navigate & don’t expect exemplary service…..BUT, it’s a dollar store. Definitely worth it! I’ll keep doing my weekly runs to this Dollar General.
