“Renovations happening at this beautiful old church building! At this time we do not offer the standard Sunday services. Our entire ministry is done through Feeding Families of AL, which is based in the church building.Feeding Families of AL is one of the largest food panties in Morgan County.Would like to remind everyone that the church is NOT responsible for the cemetery. We are NOT the caretakers and have no cemetery records. Please contact the Mt Tabor Cemetery Board members with any questions about cemetery matters. Their contact information is on the signs at cemetery entrances. The church itself is Private Property, seperate from the cemetery.”

“I have visited this church many times over, and everyone is always so friendly and welcoming. I have read a few of these reviews and think it would be beneficial for us as Christians to try and give churches a chance. What is fitting for one might not be fitting for another. Churches are run by people, and people are never going to be perfect. I like to focus on the bigger picture of GOD and the reason I attend church and send my kids to private school. OUR GOD is an awesome GOD. Allowing him to take the wheel when times seem tough or they do not reach the standards we set as humans for others. He has reasons for everything that we face, and how we handle it is on us.”
“Held my parent's 50th wedding anniversary celebration here. They were married in this church. While we don't attend here they were very gracious in allowing us to use the church facilities. My grandfather and great grandfather pastured here. Fond memories of the building when I was a child.”
“My wife grew up in the church, we married here and currently, my youngest kids are enjoying the summer camp. The preacher and his wife are both nice and active in the community, including youth sports. Plus if I miss garbage day I use their dumpster. Jk no need to start locking them!”
