“We visited Paul's (and Wanda's!) Mountain Meats for the first time today but it certainly won't be our last visit!
We moved into the area a few months ago and were searching for some good quality steaks and found this place online. The reviews were all glowing so we had to give it a try. We are very glad we did!
Paul and Wanda welcomed us into their business and treated us as if they had known us for years.
We told Wanda what we were looking for and she said Paul would take care of us and he certainly did. He provided us with a selection of beautiful beef tenderloins from which to choose and he cut the one we picked while we browsed their amazing selection.
Of course, while we were there we found several other items we wanted and they were kind enough to make suggestions. Paul even offered a sample of some absolutely wonderful cider from a bottle he opened while we were there and, of course, it was so good we bought a couple bottles of that too! We also bought a selection of jams, jellies, butters and preserves.
Paul and Wanda Bowen are, without doubt, the friendliest and most helpful people we've encountered in many years, guaranteeing we will be return customers in the near future... and we can't wait to eat those beautiful filets!”
“Great grocery store with great prices and hard-working friendly staff. The place is always clean and organized. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is because you have to be careful with the produce. You can usually find moldy fruit hiding around, so just check your produce well before you purchase.”

“I always come here to get my unique Asian food ingredients and products that you normally wouldn't find anywhere else. The Filipina lady that owns the place is very friendly and gives good advice on cooking or preparing Asian dishes that are unfamiliar. They also have really good dumplings here. I'm a huge fan of strange and unique brands and different types of ramen noodles from different countries and I get those from this store. Their Thai soups and tom yum are my favorite.”

“Lady below you ought to be ASHAMED of yourself! Me and my wife been shopping here since opening day...these staff are the nicest go above and beyond people around! ..Our community didn’t want it here but that is no reason to get people in trouble and lie! I am writing to corporate to combat her lies. All I have to say is ROLL THAT CAMERA BACK! The manager is always so friendly and will do everything to help the customers out! I am APPALLED! She stood out of line and helped my wife get a digital coupon account for over 15 minutes and never complained, seemed glad to help. I am in here twice a week at minimum considering I can drive my golf cart a few minutes down the road, it’s convenient. They are always hard at work. Don’t mess with people livelihoods! I don’t want this staff to leave because they are PHENOMENAL! I’ve been to retailers who have awful employees, isn’t the case here. Never long lines, always clean and has 90% of stuff on shelves at all times. Shame on our community for allowing hate to happen.”

“I shop here at least 4 times a week and have never had a negative interaction with any of the employees. They are always helpful and polite even though I know their stress level must be through the roof considering how long the line to check out can get. And I have never seen anyone just standing around they are always stocking, cleaning or running the register.”

“This location is just outside of rainbow city. It is very convenient to the city, and is on my way back home to Ashville. I appreciate it it’s convenient for me to swing through here on the way back from Walmart or Publix.I don’t really ever see any employees here, I just use the self check out. The store as well start relatively clean. My photos are from Black Friday, so understand that the store is normally more well-stocked than this.”

“I stop there and get whatever, or hot food they have available, when I pass by in between my service jobs. The employees are so sweet, I just feel like I'm home every time I walk in the door. The food is AMAZING, and they, happily, make it any kind of way I request. I will, ALWAYS, stop in there, whenever I'm in that area, because, maybe its the smiling faces, or great food, but its a constant calm stop/spot, to my normal hectic days”
