I bought a pair of sunglasses for my three year old that were advertised for ages three to seven and also advertised as indestructible. The hinge broke before we were out of the parking lot. The Coastal Outfitters refused to stand behind the falsely advertised product and exchange for same item. My three year old left crying all the way to the car. Do not buy anything from Coastal Outfitters!

Great location right off of the interstate near lots of other stores and food places. Rhiannon was a great help to me! She helped me find exactly what I was looking for, and had a smile on her face the entire time. Very sweet and patient. The store has a great selection of styles.

The store is personally not my style when it comes to clothing options. However it’s really clean, costumer service was phenomenal, and I found everything I needed for my sisters beach adventures. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Terrible customer service. Brought in a pair of shorts with original receipt to exchange for a larger size. One Aftco tag was attached and not the scan tag (again had the receipt). Found the exact pair in a bigger size. Would not let me exchange because scan tag was not there.Wait for it, the pair in a bigger size, THE SCAN TAG WAS NOT ATTACHED TO THOSE EITHER. It was just being held by the hanger. So, we can BUY the shorts without the tag being attached but we can’t exchange for a bigger size? So, we let them keep the $350.00 sale we were purchasing at the same time since they didn’t want to EXCHANGE the $40.00 pair of shorts. Even asked the manager had I purchased the bigger size today without the scan tag attached and walked out, then walked right back in, would I be able to return or exchange them. Her answer was, “no”. Would not recommend.

I purchased a red Local Boy tshirt there a few weeks ago. After one wash the decal on the front pocket went away. Tried to return at the store but the young man told me their policy said they couldn’t refund me or exchange the shirt. If they don’t stand behind their items why would I want to spend my money there?Follow up: spoke with the manager this morning and she confirmed their policy was to send the customer to the manufacturer. So, in the future I will buy my stuff directly from the manufacturers and NOT Coastal Outfitters!

They refused to let me exchange my cap for a larger size because tag was removed. I wasn't asking for a refund, just a hat that fit! Seems like the tag from hat that fit could be used on hat that was too small to make customer satisfied. We have taken grandkids shopping here before, but they will have to pick another store next time.

Spend your money somewhere else. Staff is not knowledgeable about their own products and do not care about their customers. They have cool stuff but I'm sure it could all be found online :)

Customer service disappointing. Unable to help me with a return on a faulty product and unable to provide a receipt only days after purchase.

Disappointed in the customer service and general lack of willingness/attitude to help. I purchased a pair of Chaos and six days later they broke. The manager would not accept a return nor was she willing to help provide me a copy of the receipt (six days prior) for my return to Chaco.
