I had to go into the store to do an in-person verification. Even after handing the store manager my CDL, the system the store utilizes told me I wasn't the person I said I am and it indicated I did not live at the address where I stated on my application.I drove over 45 miles from Birmingham to the Springville location (because that's where the online application sent me to) to be given the run around. I cancelled that order and went to T-Mobile and purchased both service and the new iPhone ProMax 256G. Based on my experience, I will never ever purchase anything from AT&T in the future.

I live in Birmingham, Alabama. . . . I completed an online application for AT&T new service iPhone ProMax 156G-bits. The application online sent me to Springville, Alabama to the AT&T Store. I am suppose to do a "curbside" pickup. I had a note to call Customer Service before going to the Springville Store. I called CS and the Rep. stated there was missing information on my application. So, he canceled the order because I said I would visit the nearest AT&T Store in Hueytown. The Hueytown AT&T Store did not have the iPhone ProMax phone I had intended to purchase. Therefore, I did not do an application for a new account in the Hueytown Store. I proceeded on to drive 43 miles to the AT&T Store in Springville, Alabama. I arrive at the store and stated I was there to do an application for new service. I hand the Store Manager my driver's license as proof of identity and residence. The manager keyed in the information from my CDL and AT&T Opulence Systems kept kicking the information out stating I wasn't who I am.? #ThatsOdd So and for about 20-30 minutes the Store's Manager tried to key in my information until the District Manager called and notified the Store Manager the AT&T Opulence System was having issues processing applications online. Therefore, I utilized my cellular phone to submit again an application for new service and the portal was unstable, flipping through pages before the end-user could complete the online application. However, the application went through and stated the phone would be delivered to my home by April 2021 ??? At that point, I believed this was an indication I should not patronize AT&T for cellular services. #OrderCanceled4Good
