Really? Really? First of all I have a medical diagnosis that has no cure. I stay in alot of pain. My pain management doctor had written two prescriptions and had sent them both electronically. The pharmacist wasn't able to fill because they said the doctor left his information off the prescription. So they faxed the doctor. Well, it took them three days to get it back and ready for me to pick up. One prescription was a medication I had been on for years, but was tapering off to start on a new med. The other was the new medication I was to start on. I was told by my doctor to take one tablet each day for 7 days, then Take one half tablet for seven days or until out. When starting the one half tablet, start on the new medication. This will keep me from going through withdrawal and getting sick. When I started on the one half tablet the pharmacist wouldn't let me have my new prescription. I was told that the doctor didn't put his info on the prescription. (Same thing as they had told me about the two prescriptions before.) So because of this I wasn't able to start on my new medication as my doctor had instructed therefore I did get sick and go through more pain than normally. I tried talking on the pharmacist while the whole time I was trying to reach my doctor's office who never answers their phone. I would always have to leave a message and hope they checked their voicemail at the end of the day. It took me another three days before I was given my medicine and this was only because my doctor had called the pharmacist when they found out how I was being treated. Now I understand you have some people who abuse their medication, but that wasn't my case. I was only following my doctor's directions in hope that it would keep me from getting sick. I really hope no one else has to go through something like this as I did. I did feel like it was CVS pharmacist who was dragging his feet therefore I will be switching pharmacies. No one wants to be treated this way when they're sick.
