As Southern as you could wish for and as friendly. Oh my goodness. The food is wonderful. They are trucker friendly. There is No overnight parking, but that's fine because overnight/long stopped trucks would get in the way of other truckers getting a truly good meal. I'm saving this place for future meals.

Hardly ever opens on time. Either 30 to an hour late most days. The ours says there open now but there really not. If they can't open on time then change there ours .

I really like this place. I went to another one in Sylacauga and enjoyed it so this time I’m the one in Childersburg and I’m enjoying it just as much. The staff is really friendly you can’t help but enjoy the prices and the food is great today I’m trying burgers and tenders. I’m sure I’ll be satisfied as always..Kid-friendliness: They have coloring pages available.

Last time I was here it was a 2 star review, today, it is a strong 4. This was door dashed so I’m not holding the spilled gravy or the presentation against them. (Idk why I got two types of potatoes but it sounded good in my head). Everything was fresh except the biscuit. It was a little on the hard side. No utensils to eat the mashed potatoes with or napkins given. Everything was good though. The chicken had the right amount of crunch and the fries were seasoned but not overly seasoned. Emphasis on “Strong” 4.

Jacks has changed French fry suppliers but more importantly, they changed HOW the biscuits are made. The French fries are no longer big, fat crinkle fries that we love. The new ones look like they went down to the Piggly wiggly and got the store brand cheap crinkle cut fries. If you've ever bought those, they are small, pitiful versions of a traditional crinkle fry. Some of them cook up black or just plain old looking and grease saturated. Now these pitiful biscuits...I contacted Jacks corporate and was told they invested in these special mixers to save time for their biscuit makers and if used correctly, the mixer kneads the dough to perfection. Funny thing is.... The biscuit tastes like frozen biscuits. I STRONGLY suggested that jacks cut their losses and employ more biscuit ONLY makers.

First time back to Bama in 4+ years. Jack’s is still the best fast food burger you can buy.
