“I had an awesome experience at the Mavis in Bessemer. Greg and the team really took care of me. From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly and straight-up honest about what I needed. Greg explained everything in a way that actually made sense and didn’t make me feel pressured at all.
The service was quick, the pricing was fair, and my car drives smoother than it has in a long time. You can tell they know what they’re doing and actually care about their customers.

“Cant say enough about A and R Tires. The owners are trustworthy, honest and caring for others people. My brother and we have been driving 40 miles one way to do business with these people because of their integrity. Once a temporary employee overcharged us and later the owner called us and gave us credit. That employee no longer works there partly because of this reason. We once had our brakes checked by a company who said we needed brakes including rotors and we later went to A and R Tires who put in on the rack, took it down and broughtit out to us and showed us that we had 65% left. We have been customers for the last 40 years. They have always given us the very best prices.”

“Had to bring my daughter to drop her off for college and during the drive from Augusta,Ga to Alabama I had to put air in my tires 4 times. I looked up rim shops in the area and figured I would give them a try. I explained to the young man at the counter what I was experiencing so they checked everything out for me. Come to find out one of my rear tires had a nail in it as well as knots. The gave mea great price on new tire. They also balanced all of my wheels and replaced o-rings on valve stems. They figured out what the rim shops in Augusta couldn’t figure out or said they wouldn’t touch since I didn’t buy my rims or tires from them. Than You guys for fixing what has been a headache for the past 8 months”

“Traveling back to New Jersey from Florida our tire pressure monitor gave us a warning that we were losing pressure. We just managed to roll into a gas station in Ridgeway, SC. The tire wasn't salvagable but thankfully Ken's tire was there to save the day. We couldn't go to them so they came to us and took of the tire and replaced it with a brand new tire for a very reasonable rate and allowing us to get back on the road and get home safe.

“Hard working group of guys here. I apparently ran over something significant and had 5 holes in my tire, one of them very big and they worked tirelessly on it but the largest hole was too big for the largest patch they had. Even though they weren't able to get it fixed I'll be back here next time I need tire services.”

“Small tire shop that does flat repairs and new tires but are limited on what they have in inventory. However I went to take one tire off a rim and put it on another rim. When I say these boys are fast. There doing it right in Bessemer. On top that it was only $15. I also like the fact they stay open later than most 9-5 tire joints. They closed at 7pm, and that worked out perfectly because I didn’t have to leave early from work, to get it done.”

I could have done the job myself but not in near triple digit heat taking twice as long. I have great confidence in the quality of their work.”

“The guys were cool, but I was charged more for my used tires than any other used shop I've ever been to. Typically, for the same grade of tires id be charged around $50 each. I paid almost $70 each for two of them at Kings. If it wasn't for the fact that I didn't want to try diving all the way to Guero's I would have left. I honestly think he just charged me what he wanted to, but I might be wrong. Either way, I won't be going back. I'll stick with my Spanish buddies at Guero's. $213 for three used tires.”
