The largest of the two-year institutions comprising The Alabama Community College System, Calhoun is an open-admission, community-based, state-supported, coeducational, comprehensive community college dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality and accessible education to individuals in its four-county service area.
Beautiful campus though several construction projects are underway as of this post. The gymnasium direction on Google Maps only takes you the campus. Locating the gym in a hurry is difficult. Go into the main entrance at the red-light and go straight back. At the end of that road, its directly to your right.

Calhoun is where I did my basics before I transferred elsewhere for my degree, and I can say that I liked all of my classes and instructors (except biology). Only left because they didn't have the degree I wanted. If they did, I probably would've stayed.
