Y'all have chicken on sale in deli dark for $8.95..desided to get y'all chicken instead of cooking...and asked the boy working deli to cook me some because they was none cooked.. the boy looked at me like I was dumb.. he said that he had white meat.. I kept telling him I needed the special that was on sale could he drop me more chicken.. and he just repeated himself.. when I went up to pay to check out I told the lady at the service desk about what happened and all she said is I don't know nothing about the daily I'll let the manager know when she comes in tomorrow.. it's like nobody wants to do their jobs but God knows they want to get paid.. I don't shop nowhere else I hate Walmart.. so I usually shop in the bayou La batre or the one on fowlRiver.. I spend thousands of dollars a year.. it just would be nice for once ask for something someone would do their job.. considering customers pay their bills because it wouldn't be for us there wouldn't be no Grier's open..

I cannot enough great things about this place. I placed a delivery order online for our trip to Dauphin Island. The young man arrived on time and did an excellent job! I highly Recommend Greer’s anytime you are visiting and want to save time/a trip to the store after traveling.

Literally used their website while on vacation for grocery delivery. Didn’t get groceries, but they definitely still took my money and are arguing it. Not impressed at all.

I've included these photos because I'm hoping to stop ANYONE from ever buying these much like I did. I was strolling the aisles of Greer's one evening with my husband and 3y/o daughter and came upon these in a shopping cart marked .50 each, well being a thrifty shopper and all I grabbed them and transferred them to my cart. We didn't try them until the next evening but dear Lord when we did!! Yuck doesn't even start the conversation correctly. This is by far the worst tasting stuff that I've ever come in contact with. It tastes like it's actually poison and not fit for human consumption. I wonder how many other containers of that very same stuff we bought were sold and how many other people had to go thru this experience as well? I KNOW Greer's isn't responsible for the taste of their products however I just simply wanted to point out that this stuff tastes awful and I'm 85% sure it's probably some type of poisonNow concerning this Greer's CashSaver, it's a rather large grocery store complete with a hardware store(Ace Hardware) inside of it. Which is awesome!! However, their grocery pieces are astronomical!!! I wish I would've taken pictures now of their prices bc I can't recall any off the top of my head but this isn't a place you'll want to do your monthly or even daily grocery shopping at unless you're rich. It does fill a need however because it's the ONLY grocery store between Dauphin Island and Theodore. So of course they have the edge there but STILL I think it's ridiculously high considering the fact that they boast being part of the community. They know times are tough for everyone, I'd think they'd figure that into their pricing strategy but nope! Not here! As I said it's a rather large grocery store and they have most everything you'd expect from a grocery store. Then there's the Ace Hardware inside it which really fills a need for the folks in that area I'm sure bc they are complete with a lumber yard as well. But that pricing strategy is still a little high for most typical hard working individuals. They have fishing supplies (however rather limited if you ask me), power tools like drills and circular saws, plumbing needs, yard supplies like plants and birdseed, planters and the like, yard flags, crab traps, small engine needs(limited again), nails, screws, bolts, nuts, washers and much more. But they ALL come at a steep price, in my opinion, at least. But if you NEED any of these items they do come in handy with their location. I just wouldn't miss that Wal-Mart if you're down here on vacation at Dauphin Island unless you've calculated your grocery bill being as much as your condo for your duration.

We shop here frequently when at our house on the island and they have everything you could ever need plus and extremely friendly staff including the grocery store and deli also the pharmacy but recently started outside projects and used the hardware store and lumber side alot more I would definitely recommend this store to anyone on the lower or out on the island for all your household needs

This is not for the specific store. This is for the st Louis location and the headquarters. Still after one week of being patient I have not received an email or a date or when I will get a refund for being charged twice for one order. All I would like is what is mine. And the money that is being held from me. I see no reason for them to hold my money at all. I've talked and talked with them but I have not received anything stating I will get my money back. I would like a conversation or my money back.

Greer's had everything I needed to complete dinner plus beautiful flowers! The staff is always friendly at Greers and next door at ACE! If you need help at ACE, Mr. Slocum is the man to talk with as he always has solutions! Thankful for this family run business!

For over 6 weeks the deli never answers the telephone they never even have the phone around them trying to order a pizza you can't get them to answer the phone you have to call the store and get somebody to walk over there and they're not very happy about doing that how do they get by with this this is main store realize how many thousands of dollars they lose by the deli not answering the phone
