This best western in Troy al was incredible , the staff was a young man and and a young woman named kinsleigh S.
Kinsleigh was out going and friendly and patient - she made the stay very pleasent . The young man who worked with her was a pleasure too .
We made a last minute booking - we had 5 children with us- we had a double queen room and they provided an extra bed , the room was immaculate- had no for - the sheets were spotless bedcover spotless , the bathroom spotless and the light switches were spotless , the hallways were spotless , the grounds were spotless ,we were treated the next morning to a free hot breakfast - waffles, eggs, sausage, sausage gravy , cereal ,bagels, raisin toast , muffins , juices coffee milk - the cook was very friendly .

This place is overpriced for a basic hotel room that ain’t even cleaned well dust on lamps and in them no closet no iron no board toilet barely flushed and the walls paper thin u can hear everything the room was small they ain’t got a vending machine some snacks are expired

The two stars are due the room appeared to be clean. The room was very humid and reeked a mildew smell. I woke up with a headache from the smell. My sheets felt damp from the humidity- I was wet from the humidity. Although it’s summertime, I turned on the heat to dry the air. The hotel is over priced. I paid $160 for a room that should have been $80. This is my first and last time. Expedia had good reviews, but it was very misleading. Also, the mattress is very worn. I am very petite, but I’m sinking in the mattress. I can’t sleep and feel very nasty in this room.

Would not stay again. We actually left a night early and drove home to keep from sleeping there again due to being unable to breathe (Asthmatic). Our carpet was damp and beds mildewed. I relayed this to the front desk and she stated they had shampooed the carpets.
Walls were paper thin. Did not get to sleep til nearly 2am the 1st night due to a team of players being next door to us. Roaches seen in breakfast area. Overall not what I would expect for $170/night

Good hotel for the price. I’ve never stayed at a Best Western but I’ll definitely check them out in the future.

Not what we expected for $120+ per night. The only positive was the staff. From the afternoon desk clerk to the morning staff everyone was very friendly and helpful. Our room was subpar. The mattress should have been replaced years ago because it sunk in toward the middle toward the middle of the bed. The shower head was either not screwed on tight enough or split because when you turned it in water sprayed EVERYWHERE! Coffee was ready early and we tried the hot breakfast. Not sure how much salt they added but the only thing edible were the cheesy eggs, and they even tasted a little too salty. We use almost all BWs but we will avoid this one.

Pool was nice! It was clean and staff was friendly. Our nightstand table was shaky but I informed the front desk so they could get it fixed. Breakfast was slightly undercooked potatoes but there were lots of other choices. Great and easy stop

The room was comfortable but the AC was so noisy I had to turn it off to sleep. There was a big breakfast but it all had gluten except for the sausage. The OJ machine did not work. Had coffee for breakfast - whee?

The manager is rude and very disrespectful I don’t not understand how someone who was a sleep could be heard in the lobby and when told we know you couldn’t hear him still said she did when you lie it makes the whole establishment look like they lie as well and the bleach in the tub wasn’t even cleaned out he could smell it when he ran his bath will not come back and will never recommend this establishment to others
