Love this place! I miss this place and the family that runs it. I went to school at Troy back when was still Troy State. I shopped there for fishing license, Troy hats & T shirts & had them make some hats for my home church softball team. I Graduated in 1992. Went back a few years later and they still remembered me. Great place great folks!

WARNING LONG POST!! Okay so tell me if I'm being ridiculous or what.. so last Friday (the 25th) I went to Jabs sporting good store in Troy al to get a t shirt made for my grad pictures which were scheduled to be taken on November 2nd at 3 pm. The girl that I left my order with was super nice and I am not blaming her for anything.. she took my order I paid for it and she told me my shirt would be ready by Thursday (the 31st). Okay cool. Let me start off by saying how excited I was to get that shirt because it would have looked AMAZING in my graduation pictures and I don't usually get too many things custom made because I'm super basic and simple.. So Thursday came and I didn't receive a phone call or anything from them so I took it upon myself to call them on Friday morning and that's when the owner said my shirt would be ready at 4 pm. I explained to her that I get off work at 5:30 and she said they are closing at 5:30 but she told me I could pick it up tomorrow (Saturday) and she would be opened from 8-5:30. Saturday was a very busy day for me already. I had a doctors appointment in Montgomery at 9 am which was about a 30-40 minute drive so I left Troy at 8 to be on the safe side and I had a make up appointment at 12 in Montgomery (which the girl ruined my face so I had to rush home and do my own make up) so I didn't make it back in Troy until 1:50 As soon as I got back I went to Jabs and they were CLOSED. The only number online was the number to the store so of course no one answered so I had to search in my closet and that's when I found this super basic red Troy shirt that I've never even worn before because I thought it was ugly and because of that I felt like my pictures were kind of ruined. Today I went back to jabs for a refund and I explained everything to the owner and I told her how I came to her shop around 2 and she was closed. She explained that she didn't have any air and it was hot so she closed at 1. Okay that's fine but I still didn't get my shirt that I've already paid for in time for my pictures so I feel like a refund would have been a reasonable resolution. She tells me that she doesn't do refunds and THEN goes on to say I could have came early that morning after I told her about my appointments in Montgomery. She THEN goes on to get an attitude and tell me how she doesn't do refunds and she isn't going to argue with me (as if I'm a little girl) so I said that "I wish you would have kept your shop opened a couple of minutes after 5:30 because I literally left my job at right at 5:30" then she said "well why didn't you ask me to" WHAT??? I shouldn't have had to suggest that because you are a business owner and that is just having pure common courtesy! After saying that she goes on to say that "well if I did it for you I would have to do it for everyone and then I would never be able to go home" at this point I'm emotional (I cry when I'm really mad) and I'm telling her that you are literally refusing to give me a refund because of a store policy that YOU came up with when you could just listen to understand rather than listening for a reaction!! AND if she had have listened and truly understood where I was coming from she would have realized that I didn't get my shirt that I've already paid for when I needed it and let me also say that my photo session was 220 dollars! So at this point she is still being mouthy and passive aggressive and disrespectful so I just took the shirt and left. I say all of this to say that some people are very rude and inconsiderate and I will NEVER EVER EVER do business with Jabs Sporting goods again!

I am EXTREMELY upset! I put in an order for my family for Christmas and they finished the shirts within a reasonable time. HOWEVER, the person that monogrammed the sweatshirts did not follow the information on the paper. I understand this is Christmas and they were in a rush and that's fine, but if you have the instructions, how can you mess up an order. They offered to fix it but it will be AFTER New Years. I am HIGHLY upset about this! Will not order from them again around the holidays OR have more than 1 order. Merry Christmas.....

I was very disappointed with my experience at Jab's Sporting Goods. I graciously pre-paid the full amount in advance. Therefore, I expected to have my shirt printed as I requested but unfortunately that was not so. When I arrived to pick up my shirt it was not as I requested and the Manager, Mary Anne, was aware of what was missing but didn't bother to inform me ahead until I arrived after questioning why it was not as I requested. I was not offered any type of reimbursement for the shirt not being correct on their part. The customer service there was definitively not customer oriented and they will not get any more of my business even though I am a Troy resident and huge Troy Trojan fan!

They did a good job on the shirts but they forgot two shirts and only reimbursed me for one and not the other one and she was very rude about the situation , NEVER AGAIN
