Shell is a restaurant located on the side of a gas station, described as a great little hole-in-the-wall that is easy to miss but well worth a stop. The dining room is one of the cleanest stations, and the atmosphere is very laid back. The service is great, with very nice staff and a personable owner who often comes out to greet guests. It is a family-run business. The food is terrific and phenomenal, with very daily prices. Highlights include a massive hamburger steak with great gravy, tender and delicious steak tips, and an enormous, high-quality bone-in Kansas City strip available off-menu. Portions are large. Sides like the loaded baked potato are really good, though the coleslaw received mixed feedback. Some notes mention flies in the restaurant and that the restrooms, located through a side door into the gas station, need some repairs. Overall, it is an excellent stop and absolutely awesome place that many will definitely return to.
