I wonder if there is new management because the quick service is gone..if you have the info already in the computer why will it take 3 days to change one name and date and print it. Plus wanting to charge $20 extra for a rush fee. Troy needs another place to get our needs done..even the employee said it didn't make sense..

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with an experience I had at UPS Store #2803. I visited the location to drop off a pre-paid package and was told I would be charged $2.00 simply to email them the label so they could print it. This charge struck me as unreasonable, especially considering email is a free service, and the label that was printed was a very small piece of paper—no larger than a 2x3 index card.
When I asked the employee why there was a fee, she admitted the charge seemed unfair but explained that because the label was printed by the store (even though it was a UPS label for a UPS shipment), the franchise policy was to charge for it. She also stated that if I had printed the label myself, there would have been no charge.
This practice feels both unfair and illogical. Charging customers to print a company’s own shipping label—particularly when it’s for a pre-paid shipment—appears to be a way to nickel-and-dime customers without justification. As a consumer, I find it disappointing to be penalized for using a core service that should be included at no cost.

Everything I go to ups to ship anything the people in Troy Alabama always get it done quickly and are very inice to me. UPDATE 9/16/24 Left last post when I overnighter my sons glasses. Been 10 days and it's not delivered. Their boss is out of te office and they want me to wait longer to determine if package is really lost. My son need his glasses asap, not 2 weeks later. Now they are putting a claim in to track each scan to determine that they lost the glasses. I should have used the post office. I will never use UPS again.

One gentleman was assisting me with sending a document to our Cemetery. I asked what options I had available for sending it. The courteous young man was giving me my options when this very rude and condescending man asked why he was quoting me the prices and indicated that, “We don’t have that option.” An argument insued. “Why are you doing that”? The rude teller said. When the teller told him that I had asked, “She does not need to know that. “ I spoke up and said, “I am the customer, if I want the information I asked I should be able to get the information! This is customer service! The reude young man looked at me with an angry expression! He doesn’t need to be working in customer service!!! He had a bearded face. I will take my business elsewhere unless he has an attitude adjustment!

Got here 5 minutes before closing on 1/4/23 and the young lady behind the counter said she can’t ship anything before me because she’s already closed the register. Why would you close out if you are not closed yet? Being a Business owner this Frustrates me!
