Not sure if this is a common occurrence, but based on other reviews, it seems that Publix only hires rude, inept employees. Was told that I had already picked up a prescription the day before I came to get it. I assured them I would’ve remembered that. Then they told me that was on my other profile. How many profiles do I have and what profile picked up my meds the day before? I’ve had all my medications transferred to another pharmacy and will only recommend Publix to people I don’t like from now on. I won’t even get my groceries there now. Step up your game!

Filled rx from unexpected surgery even though they were about to close. Super kind and patient. Pharmacist and lady at front went out of their way to help when they didn't have to and patiently waited while I ran to find insurance card I forgot ?.

After a couple of years of being a customer here, I am done. Several employees in the pharmacy are so rude and have no customer service manners when speaking to customers about their medications. I haven’t even gotten my medicine refilled in the last 2 months because I absolutely don’t want to have an encounter with them. They make rude remarks towards my mother inquiring about her prescriptions as well.

The male pharmacist (bald man) should not be allowed to speak to customers. He really should not be allowed to speak to technicians the way he did either. He is completely rude and is NOT compassionate. It is not my fault that 3 days ago I called to ensure my new insurance was added to my profile and the employee told me it was. While he attempted to help the sweet technician that was truly putting in effort to apply my savings card for an expensive medication, he made me feel like I wasn’t wanted as a customer. He loudly told her “I have 30 mins to fill 60 prescriptions”. He then asked me “Do you really need this prescription today?” Really!!!???!!! I absolutely need my medication today. I came to Publix today just for my prescription and I called 3 days ago to confirm my insurance was corrected. Clay, the store manager, was very nice and listened to my concerns. I appreciate him listening. I am still leaving without my medication and will be having another pharmacy fill it for now on.

The only reason I am giving two stars is because some of the staff is really friendly. I waited until the next day to get my meds and when I go in I am told it will be 2 hours before they are ready. I have had automatic refills to take 3-5 days - meds I need for health reasons. This one pharmacist always claims to be running behind. My daughter was told it would be the next day before her prescriptions were ready and by the time she got home she received a text that it was ready. I’m not sure what’s going on but I really need my meds!

Definitely a 5 star pharmacy! The staff was very efficient and knowledgeable. Educated us on our prescription, we had time to ask any questions, did not feel rushed at all ( and they were busy, the day before Valentines Day). Keep up the good work Publix pharmacy.

If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would. Like several of the other reviewers have mentioned, the staff is consistently unfriendly and rude. Whether on the phone or in person, I always feel like a burden to the staff. I expect absolutely nothing from anyone here- just the occasional medication, but their attitude is enough for me to seek a different pharmacy.

Worst pharmacy ever!! Every time I go, waiting time for at least two hours. They only have two people working, very inefficient. Today I went at 6pm and they made me wait until 9pm, and said that was not ready..after complaining she decide to mix the amoxicillin for me.

I always have an issue when coming to pick up refills from this pharmacy. I will call and be confused because I have no refills and the lady wants to be completely rude as hell to me. I am just confused and angry as somebody would be when they are supposed to have more medications by tomorrow. Super rude staff, never have my medications ready and are awful with communication.

I’m giving 3 stars instead of 1 because I like some of the staff at the pharmacy as far as friendliness. It seems like every time I order my medication, there’s a problem that they don’t relay to me with even a simple phone call. I ordered my medication a few days before I arrived to pick it up and it still wasn’t ready. Communication isn’t great and they blame it on being short staffed, which I do understand. This has been going on since before COVID and I kept giving them chances to correct it. No excuse to not simply call me so that I’m not making a wasted trip. I will say that the store is very clean and most everyone is friendly and helpful. I really wanted to remain a customer of the pharmacy, but I need better communication.

Your store at 7272 Gadsden hwy. Trussville AL. 35173 has the WORST PHARMACY EVER! I responded to text to refill prescriptions on Thursday. On Sunday my wife went to pick them up. She was told they were not ready. This has got to be THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I am looking into a new pharmacy. Patrick Yingling.

The snow crab legs were delicious and very meaty! I always have them to steam my snow crab legs with old bay an extra cajun seasoning and they came out perfect! Seasoning very good and delicious. I have been coming to this store for quite some time now and I must admit their snow crab legs are so good.. I will be back to see you guys soon. Kris love her some good ol snow crab legs
