“As of December 2024, rent has increased by $85. An additional $40 increase from 2024 rental increased. I have not called yet to ask why such a huge increased from the past 2 years. But I'm sure it will fall along the lines of "market value or cost living".
I will say, Stone Creek is a very spacious, well managed, quick response, non-gated, clean, respectable place to live. There aren't any relatable amenities such as other apartments in the area, however, those other apartments are not giving you the space, well managed, clean, and friendly staffing like Stone Creek. Even with some minor dislikes Stone Creek for this area is the better choice. I opted for a townhome, which will be $1500 this coming 2025 (2023 rent was $1370, 1510sq.ft) due to personal parking, space, and quiet neighbors.
Like, truly it's almost like these townhomes are sound proof or something. Every year, a neighbor to my left or right will be shocked that I have kids. Simply because they cannot hear how loud my kids are. Trust me my kids are amps with the noise.
The rent has definitely out matched the value of these apartments (with no community amenities) but I will not pay this same price for the other apartments with the amenities based off of smaller units and gated.

“I am going on 3 years living at HERE Tuscaloosa and have enjoyed each one. It takes me 5 minutes to walk to class while also being right on the strip. My roommates and I have a great view of the stadium from our room. All of the amenities here are great especially the study rooms and gym. The HERE is an all round great place to live and I highly recommend anyone interested to check it out!”

“I’ve really enjoyed living at Lark Tuscaloosa. The apartments are modern and furnished so moving in wasn't too much trouble. The staff is always friendly, responsive, and willing to help with any questions or concerns. I was nervous about random roommates, but the staff hand-picked some of my best friends. The location is perfect. While you have to commute, it is close enough to town to access all of my favorite Ttown restaurants while being far enough away to wind down away from school. I’d highly recommend Lark Tuscaloosa to anyone!”

“We have lived here for a year and a half. Thus far everything has been quiet and well maintained. We feel very safe. Maintenance requests are usually taken care of in less than half a day after submitted (in some cases within the hour). I use the amenities often and find the staff there polite and helpful. I am so surprised by the negative comments. That being said, we are quiet and respectful of our neighbors and the property we rent, we pay rent on time, and try not to have unrealistic expectations about the timing in which requests are addressed as this is a large apartment complex with only a finite number of employees. I would and have recommended people to live here.”
“I can only say great things about this place. I’m going into my second year here and I’m loving it. I ended up transferring from the unit I was in last year to one with less bedrooms and they helped make my transition super smooth. I got put into a unit that didn’t have elevator access and the management team ended up offering to help move my TV, mini fridge and some other furniture items down the stairs and into my new place since I wasn’t strong enough to do it myself. Unit was super clean and had zero issues. They are also putting a lot of money into updating the security features which is highly appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking. The access to the riverwalk is also a massive plus. I love walking down to the farmers market on Saturday mornings.”

“I have lived in a 4 bedroom townhouse and I am currently in a 2 bedroom + 2 1/5 bath townhouse and they are very spacious, homey units. The rates are exceptionally reasonable considering that I am a student that is responsible for their own rent, along with all that is offered and/or available to the residents. The facilities are by far some of the nicest that I've been to in regards to off-campus student housing. The Clubhouse is ALWAYS having some sort of community activity that are actually enjoyable. It also never hurts when the Clubhouse randomly gives out free food or tickets to Hangout Fest!! (i won two tickets to Hangout Fest of 2022 when I went in to pay rent!!! THANKS RP!! <3)”
“Absolutely love love the staff here Callie and Grace and Kris are absolutely amazing and so is the manager over everything her name is Katherine super friendly and will help you out with whatever it is that you need help with Callie helped us with our car today it was having problems and she went above and beyond to help us find the problem she’s great and so are the rest of the office staff also I want to say thank you to Carlos and the others from maintenance that lended us an Allen wrench you all are so amazing I highly recommend renting from theses awesome people as they go above and beyond to help there tenants. ? “This apartment is great and affordable so far in Tuscaloosa that I know of.
Pro- The move in was so smooth and efficiently. The lease office answered all my questions that I need to know. I can go to nearby towns and downtown in less 5 minutes. Everything inside is just perfectly safe, spacious, clean. Nice shower, microwave, dishwasher, furnished, laundry machines ready, awesome air conditioner. Average affordable for most people with a good jobs. The staffs and the office service is great. There’s also nice pool, gym, study room, dog park.
Con- the dumpster is at 3000 building and I’m at 1000 building where I have to walk while carrying the trash bag. Can’t mount the tv at the balcony, only inside allowed. The bill won’t come in early until the first day which I rather to pay early.”
