I'm gonna be honest, they had terrible service 1. They still do covid protocols, and the pandemic ended years ago. So I don't know why they still have to make me wait in my car for my pet to get checked 2. My wife called about one of our cats who was feeling sick, and tried calling no less than SIX times. All of which went to voicemail. 3. She called back today and the vet told her "time is of the essence." Yes. Exactly. That's why we tried calling you... SIX times. 4. I called the front desk to leave a formal complaint, and before I could get a full sentence out, the lady interrupts me and starts talking down to me. So now we're having to take our cat to another vet who's able to help. They have lost a customer

They used to be really good when they had a certain team working there. But not anymore. They wanted me t drop my puppy off to care for her because I suspected a UTI. When they brought her to me, I asked if they had walked her cause it's my habit to walk my dogs before they get in the car. Well come to find out my puppy had not been walked once in the 3 hrs they had her and vet did it even check her. He just gave her antibiotics! Bad service. I was upset!

They took great care of my puppy! Drive up service. The doctor and the ladies were very knowledgeable and patient.

Ramey Veterinarian and their whole team have been a HUGE blessing to me and my pup. When she had an infection, the receptionist got me in the next day, and the vet took the time to come out to my car and talk me through the whole medication/healing process. All staff are incredible and kind natured. I recommend them to all my friends!

We picked up our dog from boarding her for 4 days only to be told that she hadn't eaten anything until the morning we came to pick her up. The vet never called us to let us know she hadn't been eating while we were on vacation. The only explanation they had was that dogs typically don't eat when boarding and they guessed they should communicate better. She came home with the same amount of food as she was dropped off with initially. Will not be using this vet again.

This vet does not make their Covid policy known when you make an appointment. Their policy is to take the animal back without allowing the owner in the building to see what they are doing. I understand that is their right, but why not be upfront about it. When I questioned why they did not tell me about this policy when making an appointment they got very defensive. It leads me to believe they are using the covid policy to hide something. This may not be the case, but when you are super defensive when someone is just trying to question why they were not told beforehand it does lead to suspicion. I personally would never leave my dog with a vet that is not transparent on what they are done to her. This is shady and unprofessional.

I drove all the way here this morning for my new puppy's checkup and shots only to be told I would not be allowed to go with her. I understand that's their policy due to Covid, but I should have been told this when I made the appointment. I would not have scheduled the appointment with them had I known this. I personally don't feel comfortable leaving what I consider to be my "child" with strangers and not physically seeing what is done to her. They could literally do anything to her and I would not know. I am not saying they are not good vets, but how would I know. People are not expected to leave their children with the pediatrician and just wait without seeing what is done to them. Thankfully, I found another vet that allows one person back with each patient. Again, I am not saying the vet is bad, but that their policy should be mentioned before an appointment is confirmed. Not everyone is comfortable leaving their fur baby without seeing what is being done to them.

We were introduced to Ramey 6 years ago when we adopted our oldest dog from Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter and have loved them since. Dr. Askew is great and so is all of his staff. I could tell you story after story of how they treated our animals great and helped us to understand what was going on or to offer some relief when we were worried about our animals. I have and will continue to recommend Ramey to anyone with pets.

Could not ask for a better Vet for my doggies and cat. They have always went above and beyond to make us feel like family instead of a job! The Doc and Jennifer are the best!!

Excellent experience here. My cat was a first-time patient after she injured her paw. They were able to fit me in quickly and were very accommodating of my request that I get a call after diagnosis. Dr. Askew was so great on the phone and talked me through my options and really eased my worries about my poor old girl. She's doing much better and I will definitely be back.
