One of the worse banks I’ve banked with. This location is so slow and don’t give you enough info to work with you on applying for a loan. Takes 24 hrs or even longer for a check to go through. And even costumer service through the phone is not serving right. Closing my account for sure.

en with them since the late 90s. At first they were a decent bank. I joined for free ATM, which I hardly ever used until 2020. Then I learned that not only did they take away my free ATM, they added an extra fee for using non bbva ATM. So the $2-4 fee was now closer to $10, just to pull out a $20 here or there. I didnt realize this until they had already gotten over $250 in ATM fees just for themselves, thats not including the fee the owner of the terminal charged. And now they have removed me from the "opt out" option of overdrafts and have made thousands off of me for about $100 worth of overdrafts total. That $5 overdraft that they shouldn't cover turns into a $50 fee that they don't deserve. I'm disabled and have very limited income, this month I can't even make my car payment because $30 in overdrafts turned into over $270 in fees. My fault, maybe but only because I'm d*** enough to stay with the company I have used since I was a child! I have been with them since the late 90s. At first they were a decent bank. I don't know what is going on with this place, but it had gotten so bad. Waited 20 minutes in the drive thru and never moved. Now understand all 3 lanes were open and NO ONE was moving. I backed out and went inside. When I go in, there is 1 out of his world teller working the window. Dirty looking, weird hair and a beard that goes on forever. What happened to dress code? The young lady working the lobby was super nice and when I asked what the drive thrus problem was, she just kinda rolled her eyes and apologized for it. I did make a comment that I hope it gets better when PNC takes over. Been with the bank too long to change, but it is an option.I don't recommend this branch or the BBVA bank if this is what they have come to.

Have had an account here since 1977 and have never had an issue. My debit card has been compromised three times and it was immediately caught by the bank and stopped before I knew anything about it. Feel very safe with my money in this bank. Customer service has always been a bonus. I think they are very personable and even though I rarely have to go inside bank some of them remember my name and treat me like part of the family. There was one teller that went out of her way to give me tips on how to keep my debit card safe-above and beyond my expectations

I bank with BBVA Compass because none of the many, many Regions Banks throughout Tuscaloser are open on Saturday. Chalk up another point for Compass!

So, I don't bank here nor have I set foot inside. However, while stopping at a business next door, I decided to get some cash from their conveniently located ATM outside. After it took my card and then appeared non-responsive, I feared it had eaten my card for good (which has happened to me before!), but it turned out to just be the slowest responding ATM I've ever used. As in, each step took noticeable time to register -- just entering my PIN number took the time it would take an entire transaction on any other ATM. In fact, I'm pretty sure I could have done my transaction about 4 times over in the time it took to slowly and painfully get my cash. Also, they charge a FOUR DOLLAR fee. My bank will reimburse me, but if you're not so lucky, I wouldn't be stopping here! What was supposed to be a quick stop turned into a frustrating experience, so next time I need cash, I'll try someplace else.

This has got to be the WORST bank in the country. The tellers are very rude and even cursed about another customer right in front of me. I waited over an hour to make a deposit because they are so short-staffed. Please do everyone a favor and either replace your employees or shut the business down.
