Beware!!! Do not give them your debit card information. They post unauthorized charges to your account! The staff lies to get you to enroll and when you cancel your membership they continue to charge you each month. Brad the “manager” does not respond when you call. Thank you for the response. I sent you an email with the details. I hope you credit back the money you fraudulently charged. It seems like there are many reviews similar to mine. I am STILL WAITING FOR A RESPONSE! I was told by a staff member on Friday that this is done all of the time and that Brad will not respond to me and gave me phone numbers for John Marion the franchise owner and Kaisha who is someone in upper management . I reached out to both several times but no one has responded to me.

Me and my wife canceled our membership after an encounter with one of there pretend to be trainers. We went to the manager about it and he was even ruder than she was. And even said we was interrupting him. And after conversing with him you could tell he wasn’t real bright neither. It’s hard to use the machines there because more often than not someone is just sitting there playing on the phones. And just going to the bathroom there makes you feel dirty. The staff isn’t helpful. We found a new gym down 69 south that is great. The staff extremely nice and helpful. .

Many thanks to Crunch Fitness (Tuscaloosa)! I had lost a piece of personal exercise gear a couple of months ago and unsuccessfully checked with the gyms I use. At @CrunchTuscaloosa, I met a staff member named Stacy who checked around but didn't see anything I might have left.Lo and behold, I get a call from Stacy today, and he said he found the piece of gear. The fact that he remembered me spoke volumes for his conscientiousness. Thanks to Crunch Fitness (Tuscaloosa) for having great staff.

I'm a member because of it's excellent location right off the 59/20 exit, and because of it's great tanning services. They also have a nice sauna . Otherwise it offers the same thing that many other gyms throughout Tuscaloosa and Northport offer. To stand out on those other amenities that everyone else has they have to consistently be clean and the machines kept in good repair, otherwise they're just like everyone else. I complained recently, so they fixed it! They listened! One thing that's always remained consistent is the desk staff and management are friendly and they listen to their members. It's not just for college kids.

Signed up for a membership last year. Facility was okay but the sauna was always dirty (not the purpose of this review). I cancelled my membership in November of last year (why must we go in person to cancel but can sign up in line). I was charged for December, January, and February. When I called back (having already moved out of town), I was told that the manager would have to contact me. I gave them my information four times and the manager never reached out. I happened to be in town so I stopped by in person, the manager is still not here. Why is a manager not always there that can handle refunds during 8 to 5 hours? If I am told that the manager will be in after 1 pm and I call at 2, 3, and 4 pm on various days, why is the manager not there?

After going through 2 trainers and ready to give up on my fitness goals, I found my match, CJ Harris. My goal was to gain weight and obtain muscle and CJ helped me do that plus some. For reference I started out at 114, today I am a healthy and fit 125 without CJ’s assistance this would not have been possible! Not only was CJ a trainer, but a friend and an encourager to me. CJ truly cares about his clients and throughout our time together it was apparent that he wasn’t in the business just for the money. I also would like to add that CJ was very accommodating with my very busy schedule. CJ is a respectful and professional trainer and I would recommend him to any woman looking to train at CRUNCH Tuscaloosa. I am more than pleased with my results. Thank you, CJ you are outstanding and the best at what you do!

If I could give it negative stars I would! Signed up for a personal trainer that I never got to utilize then bc of that I asked to cancel the trainer couldn’t do that! Then was harassed about payments for it I apparently”didn’t make” so I had to print off bank statements which stated they actually took $100 over what should have been charged!THEN THEN TODAY I WAS CHARGED $900 and I was told there is nothing they can do about it! So in total I’ve been charged $1,600 in the past year for all of this. If you want to be robbed repeatedly this is the place for you!

Was there for two hours tonight and did not see one employee the entire time. No one at the front desk no one on the floor, no cleaning staff. Nothing. I waited after working out for 45 minutes to use the tanning bed and not a single employee came in the entire time. Canceling membership immediately. The most poorly run gym I’ve ever seen.

Crunch is by far the best gym I’ve ever been to. It’s super clean and the staff is amazing. They’ll answer any questions you have and are always polite when you arrive. The sauna is always hot and is big enough to accommodate a good amount of people. If you’re looking for a new gym crunch is perfect for you

Wont let me cancel my membership unless I come in or send a letter. I sent a letter and they’re still charging me. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

You need to fill out a form to cancel your membership, which is typical for a gym. However I did this in May of last year, and they continued to charge me month after month through October. I called dozens of times (only got an answer probably 1 in 5 times) and each time was assured payments would stop and I'd be refunded back to when I cancelled, and each month I got charged again. I went back to Tuscaloosa in September (after having graduated and moved away in May) partially just to talk to someone to their face about the refund, and was told they would definitely stop charging me. You can imagine how upset I was to be charged in October, at a new higher rate they increased to. They can go on the system to up my rates, but not to cancel the membership I ended months ago. They also then charged me the yearly fee on top of that month's fee. In November they finally stopped, but no matter how often I call (when I can get someone to answer), I am told to wait "2-3 weeks" for my refund. It has been months, almost a year since I actually cancelled, and I am still out the $133.87 they effectively stole from me. Go to another gym that honors their contracts

I went to it just recently. Very big and nice. Expect the employees. Went there and got was meet by a girl.Very rude! I went to scan my pass and I get stopped saying I haven’t payed. Not only this she was very unprofessional. Had to wait over an hour to check. Do not remember her name but god I wish I did. In the end I showed her my receipt of my payment. Even though I already had the proof she had me waiting for so long. Instead of talking to me, she was talking to other customers ignoring me trying to show her my receipt of my payment. Was side eyeing me and felt very judged. All I wanted to do was to workout. Going to switch to planet fitness…

Lots of equipment to work out with but the dirtiest gym in Tuscaloosa for sure! Need to take notes from Planet Fitness
