“First of all, they get 100 STARS- not 5. Second, they are so seriously friendly and also professional no matter what you need when you walk in there. They respond to all emails and phone calls and ALSO, you can even TEXT THEM and they even respond promptly and professionally to TEXTS! I have gotten several things done at this jeweler and they have never once treated my requests as simple or "petty" regardless of the fact that I have never bought any of the VERY SERIOUSLY AMAZING JEWELS! What I have done there is get things repaired numerous times over. One time, I went in with a WHOLE SEVERAL PAGE DOCUMENT of instructions because I had so many different pieces of jewelry (none truly super valuable- sterling silver stuff), and they treated each thing with 100% care and professionalism. The huge job that I brought in consisted of a few rings which I wanted quotes on for resizing, a pendant chain that needed a new clasp, a fun vintage sterling silver jingle ball ring which lost a ball, 3 DIFFERENT CHARM BRACELETS WHICH EACH HAD IT'S OWN LIST OF SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS... two of the bracelets were to be LOADED DOWN with dozens and dozens of vintage sterling silver charms, and the third had 3 but they made it look SO MUCH MORE SPECIAL THAN EXPECTED because I gave them creative rights to do with the charms what they thought would be best and WOW! They perfectly polished ONLY the charms that I wanted polished, etc. I'm telling you, my order was A SUPER BIG HANDFUL AND SUPER SPECIFIC AND MY NEW FRIEND (I can't remember her name- you know who you are- you're the BEST!) she typed up ALL OF MY INSTRUCTIONS PERFECTLY AND ALL OF THIS OTHER STUFF because that was procedure... so, all I can say is DO NOT HESITATE TO SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS AND GO IN AND ENJOY YOURSELF AND LOOK AROUND AT THEIR SHOP BECAUSE THEY HAVE A LOT OF AMAZING STUFF- not just SUPER BLINGING DESIGNER JEWELRY, but ALSO AMAZING THINGS WHICH ARE AFFORDABLE FOR GIFTS, SPECIAL EVENTS, ETC!! JUST GO!! Don't be shy about getting simple repairs done here, either. THEY DO IT ALL WITH BELLS ON!! THANK YOU HUDSON POOLE! I LOVE YOU! PS- Can you please recall the very very very friendly, bubbly, kind, sweet, hardworking, FAST, efficient, energetic and ONE OF A KIND jeweler that helped me with all of this? She spent SO MUCH ENERGY AND TIME TYPING UP ALL OF MY NOTES AND SHE DID IT SPOT ON THE VERY FIRST TIME! I really want her to get a shout out on here! She deserves the VERY HIGHEST PRAISE AND PERHAPS A TRIPLE BUMP RAISE AND PROMOTION! No- not perhaps- SHE DEFINITELY DOES!! I KEEP COMING BACK TO EDIT! Also, while I was waiting, a very kind young gentleman offered me a fresh beverage from a fairly good list of options! He also offered to polish and clean my wedding bands which I took him up on and they looked great! He stated that any time I want my rings cleaned to just stop by and it is always free!! (Not to be negative- I hate this, but have to say)...Just do not even bother going anywhere else. I have been to other jewelers in town (the mall) and it was a night and day experience. Sometimes people just have a way of making you FEEL GOOD and that is how you will feel leaving Hudson & Poole. That is how you SHOULD FEEL- never waste your time, money, or emotions for special occasions shopping around at locations that hire people that could care less about their job or the business they work at! (This is NOT the case at Hudson & Poole. THEY CARE!!!) ROCK ON H&P!!!!!!!! Do your thing and never change!”

“Tom and his assistant, Amy are the Best! Tom has repaired my tennis bracelets over the years, serviced my watch, saving me hundreds of dollars each time, and repaired rings. He curated a new necklace out of a large diamond cocktail ring and even paid me for the platinum shank. He does quality work and takes the time necessary to exceed your expectations.It is always a joy to see Tom’ and Amy’s Yorkies in out of their playpen, at the store!”

Plus they are heads above the other 3 pawn shops in the Tuscaloosa area. They are courteous quick which is really nice. “I had 4 rings that were very special to me. I took them to a local jeweler who created unique jewelry. I explained the meaning of the rings and was assured that he could create a simple yet elegant ring from the 4 rings and a gemstone I purchased. Long story short—after 6 attempts the ring was was atrocious! I was heart broken and and wanted to cry every time I looked at it.We had purchased several items from Fincher and Ozment in the past and were very pleased with items and the staff. I took the ring to Tom because he was extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. I told him of my experience and showed him the mangled ring. I asked if it could be salvaged. Tom examined the ring and in less than 10 minutes he said this is what we can do and then drew a sketch of the repair.I picked my ring up yesterday and words cannot express how beautiful it is!!
