This target used to be nice and clean a few years ago but for the past two years it seems there are no workers to keep it organized and clean. The dressing rooms were filthy! They had empty boxes and bags of chips thrown in them with piles of clothes. The bra section is piled high and unorganized.
Please do better!!! I would rather go to Walmart where it is clean and organized and there are workers who actually do their jobs.

It is worse than Walmart when it comes to these checkout lines. It’s early in the morning and only one cashier. The self checkout lines are both closed on both sides of the store.

I sat outside for over an hour waiting on a pickup order, came inside to speak to customer service, and found no one to speak to. I hurried back to my car for fear of missing a runner with my order, waited another 45 minutes, called customer service multiple times with no answer, and went back in to finally find someone at the service desk who could help me get my order. I spent over two hours attempting to pick up groceries that were paid for and allegedly ready. Awful experience.

I understand why the Target stocks are down. I will be selling all my stocks with Target. The young lady at the customer service desk attitude was not pleasure.

The customer service desk does not answer the phone. After over 20 rings you are disconnected. I called to ask what dept. to find shoe polish. There are no employees to help
Inside the store. If the riding cart for the handicap run out of power, too sad. Calling the customer service desk is futile.It's difficult to get help in this store.

My step mom purchased me a mini fridge as a birthday gift and got the item shipped to my apartment. The reviews on the mini fridge were not the best but I kept it due to me having roommates and sharing a fridge. The mini fridge arrived October 30, 2024. I returned it today January 21, 2025. I do not know the managers name but she was African American and had straight back braids and lashes. She is a member of management but I did not get her name. She was rude to me and I even had to call my step mom to talk to her. Idk if this is policy but she insisted on me logging into my step mom’s target circle account to do the return when my step mom already sent me the gift receipt. She was not helpful, nor polite. Basically wanted me to do her job.

Why is the self check out sometimes for 10 items or less? And you’ve got 3 lanes open for people with more than 10 items while the self check out is a ghost town. You don’t have employees in different areas of the store, so I walk from the meat section to the self check out to be told no one is working that area. “Okay, that’s fine, can you call a manager?” “No.” It’s sad when you’d rather go to Walmart on Skyland than target 3 minutes from your house. Additionally, if a purchase requires a minimum amount to receive a gift, make that known and don’t put it in the fine print that no one reads.

I had the absolute worst experience here last night, and I just cannot see myself going back. This Target location has never been very good (I travel A LOT and have been to many locations across the country, predominantly the southeast), but my last experience left me in tears and screwed out of about $50. Employees are outright rude and unhelpful. The customer service employees all need to be replaced. Shelves are always empty. Always pallets laying around the store, taking up walkways, and no one ever unloading them. Just always a unpleasant experience and last night an employee yelled at me and called me names. Done.

Worst Target I've been to. Poorly stocked. Poorly managed. Rude and incompetent employees. You might as well go to Walmart. Bessemer and Hoover Targets are much better if you don't mind the drive.

I’ve always loved Target as a chain for its quality and options compared to Walmart. I’m happy to pay a little extra for the pleasant shopping experience, but unfortunately, that’s not the case at the Tuscaloosa location. As a stay-at-home mom, my weekly Target run is one of the few chances I have to unwind—but lately, it’s been a source of frustration instead.
On multiple occasions, I’ve experienced terrible customer service from one individual in particular. She’s consistently rude, rolling her eyes and speaking curtly to customers, even as she’s sweet and almost flirtatious with her coworkers. It’s disheartening and, honestly, ruins the experience. I’m determined to find out her name because she really needs to be held accountable for how she treats customers. When I do, I will notify Target on the corporate level, district level, etc. She really brings the quality of the store down.
That said, not all is bad. There are some incredibly kind and helpful team members at this store, and I want to especially recognize the security guard at the entrance. He always greets everyone warmly and goes out of his way to make people feel welcome—someone give this man a raise!

I can see this Target location still hasn't figured out how to manage the front end lines ! Ridiculous
This has got to be the most mismanaged store in town. Lines always backed up. I guess line management is a thing of the past.

Excellent shopping experience at Target, no long lines, no bumping into others, polite employees, very helpful, parking spaces close by,store is very clean.They also have clearance prices. A+

Always great place to shop! Staff friendly and helpful, prices may be slightly higher on some items but well worth paying in exchange for the better experience! organized, close to entrance parking and clean especially if compare w other similar places
