“I’m an older woman, much older-5ft 2in and I’ve been blonde most of my life-these are important facts. 6 years ago my daughter and I purchased a 2012 F350 Diesel that included a lift kit, 35 in Toyo MTs, a 12K wench and extra lights..a tough truck! But again, I’m blonde. So for these past 6 years, I’ve paid almost every tire store in TCL, Bham and even to Alaska (literally) to rotate, balance and align my tires, trying to get even a somewhat smooth ride-NEVER happened. I was given a number of stupid excuses by the Macho-men who “knew sooo much”, in a manner that this Dump Blonde could understand.
Then I came to Southern Tire Mart in Tuscaloosa, and the world changed!
Not only did I save literally hundreds of dollars on new tires, but the Lady-Teresa, who discussed my needs, knows MORE than any, ANY tire store person I’ve ever met! AND she never talks down to me or acts like I can’t understand. Then there is Charlie-the Gentleman who does the tire work. Again, his communications are informative, comprehensive, thorough and totally respectful. But THE BEST THING is that when I’ve left there in my truck, driving the same roads I’ve always driven..it is like gliding on ice!! Smoothest ride evvver. I do have to mention the Gentleman who work outside under the shed. I had tire and rim issues with a trailer that was loaded with a heavy generator. With the help of Teresa, they resolved, repaired and replaced the problems with perfect solutions!
I can’t say enough good things about this company..and the “cherry on top” is that thru my travels, this company is everywhere..so no matter where I go, they are always there to help and I can DEPEND on them!! AWESOME, AWESOME!!!!”

A week ago - I always use Mavis so I made an appointment to replace my rear brakes and rotors. Peyton was awesome! He helped make my experience easy and I felt truly welcomed. I found a discount on brake service online, which he applied, and he also offered extra services at no cost as a bonus. I was so happy, I decided to replace my front two tires. He had my tires in stock and had the job done in a short time.
