This Dollar General is a pathetic excuse for a store. The only gray headed lady working 4/11/2024 is the most disrespectful person to me. She pulls me out of a long line and says that your can use a card on this self check out. I had 2 item's. So I got out of line to use self checkout and my card wasn't working rite and the shelf check out absolutely couldn't take cash. With a new girl being trained and taking forever!So she says I must now get back in line where there is now about 7 ppl in front of me now instead of 2. Yet when I walked over to her I was number 3. So I walked out and never again will I go back to this store. They have on many days just not even been opened up on those days...... I'll do without or drive an extra 10 12 miles to NEVER use that location again. It needs help and the old gray lady needs to learn how to talk to people bc she was beyond RUDE!

Great experience! Mrs. Fisher is always so sweet and caring.. I have seen a drastic improvement in this store for the better since she has started managing.

The female cashier was using vulgar language during a conversation about my husband because he is a Police officer and she didn’t know while I was in line that he was related to me. Needless to say we got into a verbal argument. I know she won’t lose her job but that store lost my business and I let it be know on FB and a lot of others will not be shopping there anymore either.

You can't go wrong with a Dollar General Store. Great prices on a variety of stuff. The only complaint I have is when there is a bunch of people in the checkout line there is only one register open. But that seems to be that way at every Dollar General.

I shop 4-5 times a week @ Dollar General in Leighton Al. Our town is very small and I am thrilled with the selections, variety, prices, and service. I dislike going into larger cities and I appreciate being able to pop in the dollar store, get in and out and be back home quickly.

I like having a DG close to home. This would be even better if some of the employees actually acted like they were at work. You know like wait on you, open the other register instead of the line being halfway around the store, speak to the customers and get off their damn cell phones!!! You are at work not a freaking social gathering.

They always find neat and cute little things for Christmas there and little odds and ends you might need and a quick hurry and I always got good deals on sale
