If I could give 0 stars I would. A driver crashed into a pole across the street. Lines were not broken or anything major. Just the pole itself. Why in the absolute hellfire has power been out for 5 hours for this with absolutely NO updates?? It’s HOT. If your technicians are going to ride their overtime clock, then at least reroute the power so we the people are not sitting here suffering. I have asthma. I cannot breathe in my house. Yall need to get it together and stop making your customers suffer. Based on all these reviews, you all do not care at all.
And for you to delete comments from your Facebook posts you don’t agree with or don’t want to address is highly unprofessional and shows what kind of people yall are. Pathetic.

This place is not run like the other places I lived. They act like someone is crazy for asking something that they should know since they are employed there.

We live in Valdosta and haven't had power in 33 hours. Lines coming up old Lee hwy from the small bridge on hook Street have not been touched. We are freezing and have pets.

I would give yall 0 stars if I could. Everytime there is a power outage we get no info and no way to report it. Powers been out since 5 am. It's now almost 8. I have asthma and need my power to access my meds. Yall also charge extra on bills with no explanation only for the bill to be cheaper the next month when we make a stink about it. The building staff are always rude. Utility companies scam ppl all the time. Yall watch em they have a monopoly in the area and nobodies going to stop them from just stealing your money. They dont read your meter either , or check on their poles or lines until your lights are blinking and you call them. They suck at their jobs. They also will let people whom need help on their bill go without power instead of helping because they don't give a damn.

Tuscumbia Utilities are the worst I have dealt with. They are rude and don’t know what they are doing half the time plus I have never heard of them reading your meter 3 blocks away…

I've never had a bad experience, but I also keep my bill paid a month in advance for those oops moments. These companies are privately owned.. and they are for profit.. not charities. If you can't pay there's help out there. Just contact DHR.

All the people I dealt with were courteous and friendly. Their policy on sewers under the street on the other hand seems wrong to me. If a clog repeatedly happens under the street before it connects to the main is your responsibility even though it's not on your property. I guess somehow I am supposed to dig up the street to fix it. :-(

This is the only utility company that won't work with you if you are short on your bill. All other companies I have ever dealt with will work with you.

I pay my utility bill here every month. Everyone seems helpful and nice as you walk in to pay your bill.

I just wanted to give some positive feedback...they do a largely thankless job and are always polite and professional. The power goes out and we all get impatient while someone else is working to solve the problem reguardless of the weather and/or their personal safety...or dealing with endless annoyed customer phone calls. Anyone willing to get out in a storm and start fixing stuff while getting blown around in a fiberglass bucket in the air is a rock star in my book! Most of the negative feedback is just folks that need to get over themselves and pay their bills on time! I think the one about not being able to set up revolving payments on a credit card...only a checking account (that they don’t have) is my personal favorite! 😂. Who the heck over the age of 16 doesn’t have at least one checking account? 🤔 It’s a real “thinker” huh? 🤷🏼♂️😂😉

These people won't let me set up auto pay on my credit card. Why??? They said I can set up auto pay on a checking account but I don't have one. All I have is a credit card. I'm busy and don't have time to go by their office every month to pay my bill. I've already had to pay several late charges. Not because I didn't have the money, but because I didn't have time to go by the office. I even called them to pay over the phone with a credit card and they wouldn't even let me do that. They said I can pay online with a credit card or at the office with one but not on auto pay with one. Well that doesn't even make any since. All the rest of my bills are set up on auto pay for convenience except my water bill. I've never heard of anybody else refusing to let you set up your bill on auto pay with a credit card. What's there excuse for this? I guess it's so that busy people that can't always get by there to pay their bill on time will keep having to pay late fees and make them more money. Also a minimum water bill is ridiculous. I hardly use any water and still have to pay around $25 a month. If there was an option for a 0 star rating, I would give it to them.

If I could afford to dig a well and have solar installed I would. This utility company is disgraceful. They are rude, they charge you for services you don't use and you get charged 3 late fees for the same bill. It would be nice to be treated as an equal and not as if i am beneath them. Maybe sending your employees to a customer service class would be helpful..

I've lived in different states. All utilities company I have encountered they are will to work with you. This company don't want to try to help anyone. There some are rude and have no knowledge of what's going on. They tell you one thing and then its something else. Everyone has struggles and all we ask is for a little compassion.
