Employees will only answer the most basic of questions and will not leave the counter to help any customers. Most things are not in stock also...

I bought a heavy duty magnetic pickup tool and just 3 weeks after I bought it a part in the telescoping handle broke making it impossible to lock in the extended position. I still needed a functional magnetic pickup tool so i didn't just want to return the defective unit. Since that one had broken so quickly I decided instead that I would just return the broken unit and then purchase their top end model in the hope it would last longer. I brought it in an explained the situation with the defective unit, that I would like a refund and that I would like to apply that refund towards the purchase of their top end variant. I was told that there would be no refund because the tool was in an unsellable condition. Well yeah, it was in an unsellable condition... it was inoperable due to a defective part so I would hope they wouldn't try to resell broken equipment. I asked to talk to the manager which got me no where. The manager informed me that they will only accept returns on unopened and unused products within the return window. In the end I had spent almost $100 for a tool that became inoperable after the second use within three weeks of purchase, was denied the ability to return the defective product and wouldn't purchase the top end model out of concern that history would repeat itself. In short, if you buy a tool from AIH, do not think your purchase is returnable if it fails to function because it's defective even on day one. In order to determine if a tool is operable or defective it must be opened and used, therfore all tools are sold as is, cannot be returned if defective, warranty is not honored and must be dealt with directly with the manufacturer even within the return window of time. Buyer beware.

If you have a baby don't come here with your child because they tell you to leave your diaper bag at the counter because they consider that a backpack and in not so many words hinting at you stealing.

If you know where stuff is it’s great. Don’t ask anyone. No one knows where stuff is.
