Initial set up for a game ready was easy and painless and worked great for the remainder of time I had it.I received a call asking to return the machine to their wasilla office and I was told that there would be someone there between 1pm and 4pm. Got there at 1:10pm and there is a sign on the door that says they will not be back until 1:30. 20 minutes is not long to wait but it's definitely an inconvenience.Also the building they are now in does not have a working elevator which is not ideal for carrying a game ready up 3 flights of stairs after knee surgery to return it.

Horrible place to go. HORRABLE! If I knew about their bad rep I would have gone elsewhere. I got a leg machine from them and four hours after using it, it broke down. I got a lecture even though it wasn't my fault. It took two days to get another and the second one they gave me was crooked, dirty and sounded like my old beach truck on a bad day. I needed the machine three weeks longer and even with the go ahead from my insurance and a letter from my doctor she refused to extend it. All she had to do was submit the paper. As for the lady who left a review about how she doesn't understand why people are saying that she says their insurance wont cover it.....well sorry lady. Your wrong and those people are right. She told me the same thing. I wonder if it is actually AMS who made that review....??? I went to another supplier. Trust me. Go someplace else. There are much better suppliers. These guys are crooked. They are also being investigated for fraud. Fact.

I've had numerous joint surgeries over the past decade and have used devices provided by Alaska Medical Solutions after most of those surgeries. I have always found AMS to be responsive, friendly, helpful, and transparent. They deliver devices as needed and take the time to fully explain how to operate them. They also go over the financial pieces thoroughly; I always know what I'll be responsible for paying if insurance doesn't cover something. They do an excellent job, and I highly recommend them.[Side note: I always find it fascinating to read other people's reviews, particularly the negative ones. Some of the negative ratings and comments posted here leave me scratching my head. This is a small business, folks...sometimes they're unavailable. Why would you try to go pick up equipment without confirming first? And I don't believe for a moment that anyone was simply told "your insurance will cover it" -- I'm double-covered and have *never* been told that. I would suggest taking these comments with a rather large grain of salt.]

Their posted hours are 10-4, M-F. I showed up at 1:30 and they were closed with a "sorry we missed you" sign. I called the number on the sign, but it goes to a recording. This is really frustrating when I work a 9-5, M-F job, took off on my lunch hour to pick up my medical equipment and will have to do it again with hopes someonewill either pick up the phone or be there.

Initially, I had a great experience with receiving and returning the game ready as well as being shown the setup. On return, I was assured I had no bill. However, I just received a call that I have an outstanding balance after an ENTIRE year. No communication prior. I will no longer recommend this company due to terrible billing/management.

This company is a rip off they told me my insurance would cover it and then 2 months later I got a bill in the mail don't trust them if you can avoid it go somewhere else!!!
