After my certificate matured, Global claimed they mailed my check to me on 28 July 2023. It is now 16 August 2023 and I never got it even though it was “mailed” within the same town. Spoke to Global personnel at the C Street branch office and they said the can’t reissue for another 30 days.Global Credit Union did not put any tracking on a check and has no idea what it’s status is. The personnel are very dismissive, handle customer funds lackadaisically, and does not treat customers who they provide poor service for in any manner that resembles a desire to correct their errors.UpdateA second staff member helped and resolved the issue.

What happened to all the beautiful and colorful lights atop the building in Midtown? That’s what made our piece of Anchorage so special…I can barely see one side is lit but it’s NOTHING compared to what it was before it became Global….are you trying to save money on electricity or just being cheap?? Please turn the Mistown lights back on!

Was a great organization to work for and to maintain accounts with for many years. Over the last 3-4 years the level of member service has been in constant decline on all fronts. Then the disasterous name change was the icing on the cake. The credit union threw away over 50+ years of building a respected and trusted brand for a generic, milk toast name that conveys nothing of its heritage or direction. It is not Global, will likely never be Global in service reach or products. And I am waiting for my discount offers from Global Van Lines, Global Construction, Global Airlines, Global Freight Group - aren't they all affiliated? You get the drift....well, guess it is time to move on anyway.....

I have been a customer since 1987 and I have happy with my service however management needs to be more interactive with its shareholders for the buy out was not approved by us! Not impressed and long term shareholders should be recognized and respected!

I never did get my new card when it was offered I waited and waited and then I left because I would have to miss my doctor appointment and I could not do that so I never got my card now I have to return tomorrow and start all over to get my card. I am very upset.I plan on leaving Global in the near future as well and I also felt the staff who assisted me that day was rude and disrespectful.

I was a member of Alaska USA for about 20 years. It took Global very little time to demonstrate such awful practices Ive chosen to close my accounts and take my money and my future decades of business to Key Bank instead.

NO SECURITY FOR BUSINESS ACCOUNTS THEY WONT EVEN ASSIST YOU IF YOU HAVE A BUSINESS ACCOUNT EXCEPT FOR MON-Fri 10-5SO DON'T COUNT ON THEM FIX ANYTHING QUICKLY IF YOU HAVE A BUSINESS ACCOUNT AND SO EBODY TAKES ALL YOUR MONEY YOULL JUST HAVE TO WAUT TILL MONDAY 10 AM AND THEN THEYLL TO YOU THAT THEY WILL CONTACT YOU IN 3-5 DAYS.Their security is so good it stopped me from making a five dollar charge but it totally let somebody else run up my account negative two thousand dollars and they're reply was oh well our team to fix that isn't available right now we'll get back to you in a couple of

10 years ago we would have given Alaska USA 5 stars. After 25 years we are ready to leave them. They have closed branches, taken out ATMs and are part of a network which doesn't seem to always work with their cards. We are going to find a credit union which is part of the Co-Op Shared Branch Network (all of the other credit unions in Fairbanks are in this group). I would definitely not recommend Alaska USA right now. They do not seem to currently care about serving members!

Drive through is absolutely ridiculous, the last 4-5 times has been 25-30 minutes just for a deposit and progressively is getting worse. It’s quicker to drive to another branch to deposit

The mortgage division of this CU is almost criminal. I have two mortgages with them which I pay by phone before the flour date every month, and every month I get notices that I have missed payments for up to four months, with threats of foreclosure. When I call and finally get someone on the phone, they tell me everything looks fine. I tell them about the notices and building late fees, they say they will 'look into it', and I never hear from them again. I'm at a point where I fell like I have no choice but to contact an attorney.

If i could give them 0 stars I would. I was robbed at knife point and the credit union said there was nothing they could do. They had the nerve to say that the only thing I could do was to come to a reconciliation with my attacker who is now incarcerated to get my money back. I offered to give them the police report and court documents and they said there was nothing they could do. Money is not secure with this credit union and will be changing to another credit union or bank. The people I spoke with were Linda and the supervisor Michael. They said every case is different. i bet it is based on economic status and race.

I have had nothing but great service from Nina at the C st & Credit Union drive location. With the employee shortage and new hires, she makes sure I am taken care of. As a business owner, I require certain procedures to keep my CPA happy. Nina will see me and make certain that the newer tellers are familiar with my needs. It is for this reason I will drive across town to do my deposits at this location only.

keep driving ...this is no good business. They closed my line of credit. reason was i didnt use it trough covid....can you believe it ??!! how insensible business this is. They dont care ..horrible costumer service .
