Went in about a year ago to open up a CD. Distinctively told Charles Telgenhof that I wanted a CD for 1 year. Went in to check on my investment on January 2024 to find out he invested my funds in a savings account. He did what he wanted to do with no attention to my needs or wants. So my funds was sitting there for a year earning very little interest. Needless to say I was very disappointed and took my monies out and headed to another CU to deposit it. All I got was sorry.

Linda was very helpful and knowledgeable, I had some very unusual questions about buisness checking accounts. that she was patient enough to walk me through! Would recommend, great bank

The tellers in person were extremely kind and tried their best to help me with my situation. Unfortunately my account needed some help from the fraud department who the teller called for me to get assistance so we could finish doing what I needed with my account. The employee on the phone was extremely rude and said that although I knew all my other information except my login password that my account could not be unlocked. SO in order to “protect” my account, I was told I needed to call a different number and get them to verify me over the phone instead of while I was in person, at the bank, with multiple forms of ID. I’m ensuring I warn all my new Soldiers and family not to waste their time with this bank.

Have banked with Alaska USA for 23 years. They are a very strict bank when it comes to loans. Many times I had to have a co-signer. When I went to credit union one, I got approved instantly and for a much lower rate. Having decent credit doesn't cut it with this bank. If your looking for better options and super great customer service ,check out credit union one. They are the best .

The online services and banking services have no idea what the other is doing. I like going to a financial institution that knows how to coordinate those efforts. Alaska USA continues to fail me.

Online services and banking services don't talk to one another. I like a financial institution that can coordinate the two services. If you offer a service online, then PLEASE-- know how to resolve an issue at the bank. It's already been a month and will probably take a month more to settle this issue.

Despite being a "credit union," meaning all the money is supposed to be "insured," they say they can't guarantee my minor brother's money back after he's had $2,000 stolen from his account.

Been with this bank for many years they have been great with me they are always courteous and helpful
