Do not use this company!!!! I cannot stress this enough. Pay more for a better more reliable one. Not only did our things arrive late, they lost some of our stuff or probably stole it, we never got our money back because of it. The didn't seem to help or care much. They seemed to be in a hurry when they arrived, which I get they have to be, since they are delivering to other houses, but don't arrive a couple of days late to my house then.

Mrs. J came to do our weight estimate and was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a good experience and she was able to answer all of our questions.

AVOID THIS COMPANY! They overpromised and underdelivered. We paid for a FULL move package from Alaska to Oklahoma. During the offload, we learned that the Anchorage-based pack team didn't produce a complete inventory of boxes they packed - more than two dozen boxes weren't listed on the inventory. The company delivering our shipment in Oklahoma apologized so many times for the lack of padding material in boxes. The shipping team in Anchorage packed items marked "top load only" on the floor of the shipping container. We also experienced more the $5200 in damages to large furniture items. Fortunately, we paid for insurance, and four months after our move we were reimbursed for the losses. Now we just need to have the items repaired. During the move in, we learned that the delivery company was not made aware that we had paid for full delivery, unload, and removal of packaging materials. When I called Anchorage to clarify, I was informed that "while you paid for the unload and packaging removal service, the company performing the unload had not been contracted to provide that service. So, they won't be performing that service." We showed the local delivery company our contract, and they honored it. The Oklahoma Team was professional and hark working. On the other hand, I have nothing good to say about the Anchorage office staff. And while the packing team members in Anchorage were very personable, the quality of the pack was terrible. I would highly recommend you choose a different company if you value your property and want to have your memories and keepsakes arrive in one piece.

After some issues with this company I can confidently say that if you communicate a problem to Mia and she has the time to deal with it she likely will.The movers were respectful enough. I would think about the protection plan if you have anything remotely fancy but that’s the case with any move. The responses for the planning were prompt and they did respond in accordance with my timeline to the best of their abilities.Mia has gone above and beyond to ensure to right the wrongs we experienced in our move so far. I had a couple problems with the service, I addressed these problems with the claims department and Mia. The claims department was entirely useless they basically told me that because I did not purchase the protection plan I’m SOL. I was offered an honestly disrespectful amount to replace some items that were broken or did not make it. Mia however stepped up to the plate and made our issues her priority. She was awesome. She clarified on every topic I brought up to her and really impressed me by fixing the problems I brought up.All in all I would likely do business with again thanks to Mia’s efforts after the fact. Thanks Mia!

Criminal. When you’re off 30 % with an estimate and then ghost your customers and then charge even more and tell them “just pay” this arbitrary amount with no proof or accounting of line haul rates…I could go on. Avoid at ALL costs.Also, we’re Air Force…fellow military families BEWARE.J was the one that was 30% off with our estimate (for those curious of a dollar amount that’s an EXTRA $5,000). And Mia was our move manager…constantly avoiding my calls and always saying “I got it.” “Just trust me”…um, negative. Do NOT trust these people.ALSO, some of my stuff is missing. I guess they figured we wouldn't notice a box or 2 of missing things.

I couldn’t be more happier with AAA Moving & Storage (Allied Van Lines) for my moving needs from Anchorage, AK to the lower 48. Excellent communication, great professional crew and stressless smooth process. My belongings and vehicle arrived with no damage and on time. I would definitely recommend AAA Moving & Storage for moving and I’m so glad I chose them after shopping around for estimates.

Extremely disappointed with our experience working with this company. We made a move from Alaska to the Pacific Northwest and experienced unprofessionalism and lack of care the entire time.Our valuables were not packed the way you would hope a moving company would pack your items. They wrapped an 65’ TV and computer monitor with a piece of packing paper. Due to the lack of care and preparedness, many arrive damaged or broken. I don’t know what’s worse - them throwing an expensive weapon in a box with no labeling (while us and the delivery crew scrambled to find it) or a significant hole in the side of a brand new dresser.Communication and customer service were extremely poor when letting us know the status of our shipment or bringing up these issues.Not to mention, we paid $7000 to move 2400 lbs of stuff 2,000 miles - which is outrageous. We felt like there was not enough pricing transparency. Even with all the damages incurred we are only eligible for $1400 in reimbursements because we chose not to upgrade to the “gold” protection plan…If you are looking to be valued and have a stress free move, I would absolutely not work with this company.
