Be patient with their hours, usually Mon-Th 11-2 in the main hospital building. Elevate Alaska Native artists from all around the state, and support this totally volunteer-run store.

Amazing quality and variety of native art and crafts. Not tourist trinkets. Serious work. All genuinely authentic. A visit to the shop is like visiting a native art museum. The art throughout the entire Medical Center is worth a trip. Purchased a spectacular piece of carved walrus ivory done by Ron Apangalook whose work is in the Smithsonian. Highly recommended for the serious collector.
