The ASYMCA Bargain Shop is operated by the Armed Services YMCA of Alaska. It offers a great selection of gently-worn clothing, household goods, and used items on the JBER installation. Our Bargain Shops feature weekly deals, seasonal sales, and everyday low prices designed to help military families’ dollar go further. The ASYMCA Bargain Shops accept donations year-round of household goods, apparel, military uniforms, furniture, and other serviceable items that thrifty families can use. The ASYMCA is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Volunteer opportunities available.
Very big location with a great selection of items. For a thrift store I did find the prices to be on the higher end and the hours are not accommodating for individuals working the normal duty day. They close most days at 2pm, except for Thursdays. I'm guessing the hours reflect the volunteers availabilities.
