“I had a gold nugget watch that had broken. I tryed 6 other places, no one wanted to touch it. Northern Made Creations not only fixed it but was way under my estimate on price and only took a few. I highly recommend them.”

“We have family in Anchorage and every time we visit we make sure to stop at Amanda’s studio. The studio is bright and welcoming even in the middle of winter. The colors of Amanda’s art engulf you with a wave of joyous serenity! Amanda’s work is displayed and for sale in various styles. Originals, prints, greeting cards, stickers, mugs, coloring books, etc. Amanda’s work speaks to her positive energy and her great love of Alaska. Do yourself a favor and stop by her studio, you might even be greeted by Amanda or her husband, both are wonderful kind people.”

“Becky and her staff were very helpful today. We found a piece we liked the style of ( by Chris Owens), they tracked down every piece of his work they had on site so that we could consider them all. Becky was able to share information about Chris Owens's style and methods and she helped us with possible arrangements in our home. After we made our selections, she was able to arrange safe shipping to our home in Nevada.

Becky obviously cares about her space and works to elevate voices of Alaskan artists. You'll thank yourself when you stop in to see what she has curated.”

“Jenny rocks! She works with beginners (like me) who hadn't touched clay since elementary school to accomplished potters (often together in the same class). The classes are geared to teach you technique, but are not "canned" you make what you want to make. This not "Monday we make mugs, Wensday we make bowls" She encourages your creativity and guides you through throwing on the wheel, trimming, preparing pieces for each of the firings, and glazing. She is able to work with each of us where we are at and her openess and comfort with all things pottery (she's been doing this for 35 years) creates a sense of community in the studio that really supports learning and creativity.”

“Georgia Blue Gallery handles Alaska’s secondary market. Work that has been in previous collections put on the market again. A great way to find hard to get pieces. They also premiere new works as well. The space is shared by an artesian cheese shop that serves lunch. It’s a great artist date sharing linch and taking in the collection.”

“Nice, small, clean gallery in an area with a couple of them. We went for a show by Klara Maisch called "GroundTRUTH". It was a series of paintings done of the mountains of Alaska IN the mountains of Alaska! I have been to many of the places myself, and I was shocked at how well they were captured in paint. These paintings look like photos from a distance but, when you get up on them, look like much more stylized art. Deducted a star because the woman running the show ran up to me to tell me no photos were allowed as I started to take a photo. Then she came back a few minutes later to say that they were allowed. Uh, OK.”

“Great Service | Beautiful Alaskan ArtChad was very kind and helpful. He knew personal details about every artist I asked about and encouraged us to walk around the store and enjoy the beautiful Alaskan Art.If you don’t appreciate the selection of knickknacks and more economically priced items and instead want to see more fine Alaskan Art, walk right outside (same building) to Aurora Fine Art. Aurora is owned by the same Alaskan family as Zoez and has many additional items. I bet Chad or his son Max would be happy to see you there.Hours might vary due to the ongoing pandemic.”
