I’m very disappointed that Bailey‘s furniture used to truly be a neighborhood store and that’s how they advertised themselves. Now they use the big store obnoxious sales techniques where they pretend they are going out of business and liquidating all of their inventory to catch peoples attention. I shut off the radio every time I hear it come on and I just think of them as any other big box store. they are no longer a neighborhood store and I’m glad that we have a Sadlers option instead. Anchorage is still a small town and it’s still is a positive I think to be considered a local business.

This place made me feel like I was at a old school buy here pay here car dealership. It was like they had a deal on everything that was too good to be true. Anytime we mentioned anything about price we would get a response of oh don't worry about the price we will get it to where you need it. They were so quick to drop the price it was unsettling and felt like it was some type of ploy... they had nice furniture that and the staff seemed to be nice.

Store sent out public notice of inventory sell-off. Picked 4 different items from three different areas. None in stock. Will be several weeks before getting more. Told it was our fault because we should have come in right after PFD was issued. Would not sell floor models. Went to Sadler's and bought all items we needed with great prices. Will go to Sadler's from now on.

Thank you Mason for your AWESOME Customer Service in helping us purchase our new bed. You took the time to educate us on different mattresses, materials and bases so we could make the best choice for us. We went to several different stores and you are the only one that made the time to help us find the perfect bed for us.

Five stars because I have a special need that I am taking care of and Baileys was willing to help meet this need when others could not in Anchorage. Thank you Dwayne Dedrick for your helpful service and helping me feel confident on the product! I then got a fair price too! Appreciate a helpful sale.Sorry no pictures on this one…I have my delivery scheduled this Friday! Was going to wait until then for review but I feeling good about this.Just ask for Dwayne if you go in there especially if you need a mattress.

Bought a couch during the big 20 million dollar sale 3/2023 only to be told that I won't get my couch until the end of May/June. I've called multiple times only to be told that some shipping containers have been place on or around the container that has my couch in it. I'm hoping to get my couch sometime by the end of the year. I want to give a good review but as a first time customer I am not very happy.

One of the four couches I recently purchased from Bailey's arrived broken. Reached out to Bailey's shortly after delivery. I'm being charged $85 to haul away to repair, rather than just swapping out my defective couch with a new one. For an issue like this right after delivery, it's a pretty disappointing solution. It'll make me rethink purchases in the future from Bailey's.

Baileys had a mediocre selection for modern furniture but the customer service was amazing and although they were late on delivery I still give them 4 stars because over all the experience was good! I recommend as I couldn’t find that quality for that price anywhere else!

After only a couple weeks of buying our brand new king bed frame, the main support broke. We called the store and they said a repairman would be in touch with us, and then he never called. That’s Absolutely outrageous for the marked upprices we paid even with their “sale”. And to top it off, the delivery guys didn’t even assemble it completely. They said the left side piece was “for a queen size”, told us to call the store & they left their trash! Turns out they’re not the brightest , My husband was able to finish assembly on his own, no problem! Looks like we’re gunna have to reinforce this flimsy scrap wood “support” beam on our own too!

A perfect example of how NOT to run a business. We purchased various furniture items during the big sale and was scammed by the sales people that were hired from Vegas. We were told “the items were on the barge and waiting to enter the Anchorage port”. That was a total lie. The items never left Seattle. They took our money and then after 3 months of lies, we had to fight to get our money back! Each person we dealt with wasn’t even apologetic. It’s the norm now to take your money and tell you it’s on the barge. I will never use this company again for any furniture purchases. Absolutely horrible experience! “In stock” means it’s in stock in Seattle and the items will take months of delays to arrive. You’ve been warned!

They are alright. They have a good selection but the furniture itself is average quality at best. their sales people are the typical commission sales people who make you feel uncomfortable by following you all over the store. We bought a dining set from them but it ended up being a huge pain because apparently the owner had sold 2 of the chairs from our 8 piece set. Then everything was in limbo while she decided if she wanted to sell the rest. We never did get all of our chairs but decided they were just too much to deal with. Maybe that’s what they are hoping…?

100% recommend this place it’s affordable and they have very nice selections. Customer service here is great everyone was welcoming. Tom Felli was the one who helped us with our purchase and he’s awesome! We bought the sectional right off the floor and he was quick to make sure no one else sat on it and had it put in the wear house for safe keeping till pick up.

Wife and I politely explained to the manager the situation that we bought furniture over a week prior and didn't hear from anyone. When told of the obvious delay, furniture was supposed to be ready after 4 days and we hadn't heard anything from the company after over a week, I mentioned that I also work in a field where customer service is required, and that part of what we do is to keep the customer informed, and that didn't happen in this case. The manager acknowledged this and began looking up more info. When manager again apologized for delay and began to explain to my wife how it would be another delay, I jumped in and began to ask if there would be any reduction in cost or if they could add delivering the furniture, at which point I was cut off and the manager said she didnt like my tone of voice with her.The lack of customer service after the sale is unbelievable, it shows that Baileys really doesn't care about the customer once the sale is made. It also showed me that Baileys has an issue with customer service. As an irate customer, I think it appropriate that I'm going to be upset at the absolute lack of attention after the sale. I certainly am not going to put up with some young woman telling me she doesn't like my tone when I am not being treated as a valued customer who just spent $3,000.She asked me to leave due to my 'tone'.You can buy furniture here, but don't expect to be kept informed of the process of the expensive products you bought, or to be handled with decency and understanding once you call them out on their poor customer service. When I called back in to reason with them the following day, they kept me on hold for over 10 minutes only to say the salesperson was unavailable and they would call back.No furniture is worth that aggravation and they never called back.I guess they don't really want to make money.

BAILEYS FURNITURE STORE IS GARBAGE FURNITURE AND EVEN WORSE SERVICE! I meant to post this a couple weeks ago and the got busy. Bought an almost $2,000 hutch from them. It was a pain in the butt to pick it up. My salesperson person sent me pics of the part physically being in the warehouse and then that night when I sent my friend with the truck the warehouse workers said they couldn't find it and basically didn't care enough to keep looking. WORST PART- when I got the hutch finally the two pieces don't fit together at all. I expected their furniture to be light and cheap but not to the point where we had to shove cardboard in to keep the shelves straight. Terrible company. Conning people into buying things and then once they receive the money then you have to deal with the warehouse and customer service people in the back which they do not care since they know you have already paid and now can treat you like crap so don't be fooled by their amazing customer service inside the store while your shopping because that's not who you will be dealing with when collecting your items. Big sign that says "no returns on clearance items" and that's fine but the item I purchased was not fitting together and should have been considered for a trade in for the parts that do fit. I called customer service multiple times and was put on hold before talking to anyone and other times just hung up on. I even asked to talk to the GM and never received a call back or anything. Also there is a sign on the back of the hutch that says the fumes or dust may cause cancer. I wish I would have spent the extra money and purchased from William n K or Sadlers.
