!!!Do Not Go. !!!Went in to get my thermostat replaced I new that was the issue after I used a code reader. I did an early morning drop off and received no call all day I called at 4 and he said they where already working on it. NO QUOTE. or information at all. (I have other option but wanted to check out a neighborhood small business)Called 10 min before they closed and was kirtly told they weren't gonna finish ?. Fine . Called again today 2/16/24 at 2pm Mike said it was done he just needed to do the paperwork.3 hrs labor for a thermostat?!?$750 no absolutely notI questioned him and he quickly went on the defensive and raising his voice and told me he was justgonna charge me parts and to get out and never come back. NO PROBLEM BUD. Ended up paying 266 for a thermostat which is more like what it should be.TLDR: SCAMMERS.

Friendly, reliable and trustworthy auto service. Came in for an oil change. They got it done in 30 mins and didn’t find any other issues with my car. Would recommend.

Nathan sold a RV from the business lot that was in far worse condition than he indicated, including a cut-off catalytic converter. He and his dad would do nothing to make the situation right. I won't trust them with any business and felt it would be good for others to know of this experience.

Nathan was really cool, I asked about a set of tires and he had them on the next day. He also did an oil change, all under 30 mins. It was a pleasant experience.

Live in the neighborhood close to this shop so we decided to support small local business and took it to Mike's for the first time to get my Winter tires put on Dec 2020. At the time I noted that the priced was almost 20.00 more than the average Tire-Change over price but I figured because it was a small shop they had to charge a little more.To get them switched over to Summer I recently went to my usual shop and discovered almost every Lug Nut was either half stripped or loose, and FOUR were actually missing. These were brand new tires. I had to replace the lugs. My mechanic told me whoever put the Winter tires on did this damage and clearly either didn't know what he was doing or just didn't do a good job.I'm salty enough to pay extra for the Lugs, but I also wanted to write a review to warn others to keep an eye on their Tire work if this use this shop. This could have been a DANGEROUS situation for me.

We use Big Mike's Auto Services frequently - for tire changeover, tire patching, and small jobs within their realm of expertise. I recently had to take my car in again, and mainly, i go there for their friendly service, speed of the service, and the fact that it's within walking distance of home. My car had a warning light on the dash recently, normally (like Penny on Big Bang Theory) i ignore such nonsense, but my husband is a bit more Sheldon about it, so we took it into Big Mike's, 2 days before Christmas. They called on Christmas Eve, saying it was ready. So i go collect her. Big Mike himself tells me they'd had a hell of a job with the thing, it took them about 12 hours, because 1 they couldn't remove a bolt, and 2, most places would have had to lift half the guts of the car out to get to the offending "thing" and replace them. They had found a workaround, but had only charged for 4 hours of labour instead of 12, I'm fine with that. I drive to do errands, notice the light is still on, and call Big Mike again. They tell me that they must have forgotten to use the computer thingy to reset the light, but all is well, it's a 5 minute job, and to call in on my way home, which i do. So i sit chatting while the guy fiddles around with his little handheld device, and drives off in my car. He comes back, tells me the light is still on, and it must be one final actuator, the only one that had not been replaced. It would have to be ordered, would cost $150, but they were due to close as it was Christmas Eve, so I'd have to bring it back Monday. They told me that it'll drive just fine, and no damage would be done to the car by this light being illuminated. So off i go, and i tell my husband about this actuator thing, but we decide to do nothing. Anyway, cut to a week down the line. Bloody car wouldn't even idle upon startup. It was groaning hideously, piteously, at less than 1000 rpm, and kept stalling. I kept having to depress the gas pedal to get it going and prevent the stalling, but on one memorable day, my husband had gone to work, i was going out, and the dang thing just kept stalling. I got it backed halfway out of my parking spot, when it stalled, and 3 lights on the dash lit up. And I'm panicking. I couldn't get it started at all again. Car is blocking the parking lot. I cannot physically push the thing - my legs just kept sliding each time i tried. I go knocking on various neighbours doors - people that i don't know, have never even met. One Good Samaritan put on his clothes, came out, and pushed the thing back into my spot. We took it back to Big Mike's. They fixed it properly, no lights are illuminated at all. And the cost was less than i was quoted for the price of the actuator switch that still needed replaced. So, a few days ago, I'm off out on my travels. Roads are atrocious - it was raining, and looked like breakup, GIGANTIC lakes all over the roads, i suddenly notice a hideous noise coming from the front right of the car. Pull into the parking lot, and I've got a flat. Fortunately, good samaritans abound, and a friend I'd not heard from in forever called me, asking how i was. I said all's well, but I've got a dang flat. He said stay right there, we'll come put your spare on. Which was fortunate, cos i was tempted to drive home with a flat tire, which my husband profusely thanked me for not doing. They came and put my spare on. As my tires were practically new, we took the damaged one to Big Mike, after having discover the valve was practically torn off. They fixed that in less than an hour. So, i will continue to go to Big Mike's for all my auto needs, wherever possible, if it's within their ability to fix. I like to shop local, and they are very local to me. Thanks for keeping my vehicle roadworthy!

Have lived in the neighborhood for years, before my last issue I would always recommend this shop.I asked if I could pay over the phone as my husband left me with his number to do this while he was at work. It makes no sense that I was told to bring in the card as it could have just as well been stollen because when I have paid for services nothing was inspected on my other card I used.

Car was shaking so I brought it in to Mike's. He told me my rims were bent and I needed new rims. He put weight on the rims and said he balanced them. When I brought them to alaska tire and rim they showed me that the rims were fine and that the tires were bad. Mike obviously doesnt KNOW WHAT HES DOING. DO NOT TRUST mike.

Never in my life have I been treated so unkindly or so rudely. If I could give negative stars it would be -5. The owner yelled at me for just asking for help. So sad.
