Our family lives in Seward, Alaska where we excitedly welcome guests from all over the world to stay with us and experience Alaska at our BNB, Oz Lodge. Our guests look forward to not only staying with us, but also adventuring with us so naturally we look for the best gear at the most affordable cost. It’s a great store to walk-through when you have the time there’s so much to see every single time I come here I always see something new. The staff are always friendly, polite and knowledgeable. The quality of the product is subpar. It’s worth the money. I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to.

This along with the Bass Pro Shops in Anchorage are awesome. They have a great Alaskan feel and things you wouldn't find in some others. Totally recommend getting your gear from here before you go on your Alaskan adventure.

Love the store, BUT before you place an online order for pickup, be aware that the pickup window is on the back wall near the aquarium.I love online ordering. I have a bad back and walking very far is, literally, a pain. Most stores have the pickup area up front, or offer drive up delivery. I understand the marketing behind the scenic route through Cabelas, but they may lose customers like me.

really good people in there helpful I just got a fly rod and this worker helped me out with all I needed to get a start on fly fishing would definitely stop here to get what you need.

Don’t get the 8wt cabelas fly rod combo. Ive only used it a handful of times, hooked onto a fish just recently and the rod just snapped at the handle. Maybe if the top of the rod broke id understand due to people holding the fly rod and shortening your rod length but at the handle?? Probably means cheap material or a defect. My friends all have 8wts and fishing the same area without no issue. Alongside since Bass & Pro took over, cabelas took away their life long warranty which means i wont be buying anything specific to them anymore due to them only have 60 day warranty which isn’t even a full fishing season. Save yourself the sadness of a broken rod and get a better brand.

The last time I was here I asked a store associate what isle jig heads were in and he walked me to the isle with roostertails and other spinners. This wasn't the 1st time Cabelas employees at the Anchorage, Alaska store seemed clueless. Numerous times in the past I have observed Cabelas employees at this store walking around with their hands in their pockets, and you can pretty much see it in their eyes they're thinking "God I hope this customer doesn't have a question for me". If you want the help of knowlegeable store associates go to Sportsman's Warehouse instead.

We live 50 miles outside of town and my boyfriend was in need of new boots for work, had a packed schedule and just couldn't make it in. He is a veteran and Cabela's extends a discount for those who served, but I do not have any affiliation with this military or as a spouse. I called ahead to see if I came in to purchase boots, if he could come back another day with the receipt and receive his discount and they were happy to help. Another store in town refused to accommodate, so I was SO appreciative of Cabela'g Guest Service teammates Matt and Ron who approved the discount at the time of my purchase! The next day I was able to come back into town to return the unwanted boots and Molly made the process very easy. I cannot thank you all enough! This sealed my brand loyalty to your store.

Cabela’s is the place to go for all of your camping, hunting, outdoor gear, etc. I recently visited the store and worked with Kyle Barkman who assisted me with my purchase. Kyle is a major asset to the organization and always goes above and beyond his call of service. I highly recommend you go check out Cabela’s as it has become one of our favorite stores.

This place is fun just to go and see all the stuffed animals. But overall, the selection is great, and the store is clean, workers are friendly. I will be back. :)

Everyone working is always friendly and offering their help. I can always find my out door supplies for kayaking, fishing, camping. Every time I go to check out the firearms all my questions are always answered. The staff are always amazing here! Keep up the great work guys, especially in the sea of some of these miserable consumers.

I bought a $200 portable chargeable battery from them. Got to use it one time before it quit holding a charge. I returned it after their 60 day return policy but was able to present the receipt and was told by customer service that they would let me exchange it for a new one. In the process of looking for a new one, a different customer service member came out and told the lady helping me that he would of told me to "kick rocks" and then proceeded to tell me that they shouldn't have agreed to let me exchange it because I waited to long to come back and that I'm lucky. After about 30 minutes of searching for a replacement it was determined by the customer service manager that he won't be able to exchange, refund or store credit for my purchase and that I should try my luck with the company that made the battery. The day prior I spent $400 on products at their store, and have been a regular customer to them since their grand opening years ago. Right now I have no desire to ever give them money again.

I always love coming here, my wallet does not tho. They really have it all, especially when you're as big of a yeti fan as I am. Plenty if things to look at and buy. My kids enjoying the giant fish tanks, we always have to stop and look whenever they come with us. Plenty of cloths and outdoor supplies. Definitely a campers paradise. Highly recommended
