“Every time I go in, I've had the same hard working woman behind the desk helping me out. Heather was super helpful and resourceful. I live in Texas and my ex wife moved my kids up to anchorage after 5 years of failing to remove my rights in texas court. Well, it goes without saying that my trips to Alaska are super stressful. Fortunately, my rental car experience has been the easiest part of my travels. They were super accommodating and I'll for sure be back. Thanks Heather, you're a gem.”

“Avis Anchorage (Ted Stevens Airport) was polite, professional and accommodating. Although they did not have the vehicle we originally selected and reserved prior. They did make it right by providing a step (or two) up, without us having to request this. Not to mention at the same price as the original reserved price.
Way to go Avis. You definitely have our business going forward.
This clearly exceeded out expections and a MAJOR difference from you competition who a year prior on our flight into Fairbanks, not only did not have the vehicle originally reserved. The vehicle they substituted it with was much smaller with no other options at 2am in the morning.
You CLEARLY have our business from here on out!
Keep up the great service, staff and business mindset. You are clearly a step or two above the rest.....

“Although I had to wait about 30 minutes to pick up the car, that was more than offset by the service when I had a tire problem. I used the emergency service number and was given advice to return the car to the airport. I was met immediately in the garage by someone who knew my name and the issue. I was given a new car and was on my way in about 5 minutes. They were fast, pleasant and helpful. I was very impressed.”

“Trey went out of his way to help in a difficult situation, the friendliness and positivity was exceptional. I travel a lot and typically go with best price, however this will get me to look at Alamo brand and family more. Even the agent checking in my car was polite and delightful, I don’t remember his name unfortunately.”

“I will always rent here from now on. I was able to switch the drop-off to the airport for free, I got a free upgrade although that is not the motivation behind this review, and I'm getting a prorated refund on my weekly rental. My last rental place wanted $75 to transfer drop off at the airport, the cars were covered in damage, and not full of fuel. Sam was awesome and took care of my every need.”
“The best value for your money. I got one recently from Stan and I loved the car so much . This got me out of some pretty bad roads. Worked like a charm. If you are looking for something cheaper than name brands this is the place to go for. He also showed me other cars he had which was a very big collection honestly. Stan is a gem of a person and will help you throughout the trip.”
“We were very pleased with Rent A Subaru. Our reservation had to be redone several times because of two cancellations of our inbound flight to Anchorage and a new very early departing flight. They accomodated this well and we used an electronic signature process to sign the final contract. Because of our unexpected off-hour flight arrival and departure, we didn't go to the Rent A Subaru office. It has a very nice arrangement with Alaska Park, an 24/7 airport parking service, to shuttle clients between the Anchorage airport and their rental cars at Alaska Park. It worked well.Our rental Subaru Outback was not brand new, but it was immaculate and operated perfectly. It certainly was of advantage to be able to take the vehicle on unpaved but graded roads, such as the one to scenic Hatcher Pass. From my research, most or all of the national car rental companies don't allow this.”

Customer service was excellent, and the CSR that checked us in even dropped me at the shop to pick up my vehicle when it was ready. Great customer service.”

“We had a reservation for a van but the box did not have protection. When I reserved it I did not take this important detail into account because our luggage was going to be left unprotected. I raised it with the man who attended us and he immediately offered us an SUV that he had brought from the airport in five minutes, the vehicle was new and impeccable, excellent experience.”
“We planned to visit ALL the National Parks and had one left to visit, Wrangell-StElias. Crystal rented us a Kia Carnival.. So nice. The weather was mixed, so it was extra nice to have a larger car. The scenery to the park was epic. Lots of rivers and glaciers. With Gratitude for assisting us in visiting All the National Parks! There are eight.”
