I want to thank a very patient cashier Fedelyn who was very gracious to a customer that was not only harassing her but did not seem to understand the free Turkey program. She made this cashier redo her entire order as she did not understand the Turkey needed to be scanned in for stocking purposes and the member savings showing she was not charged. I witnessed this very kind cashier quoting the cost from the first transaction being identical for the second transaction. This occurred on 11-16-2024 around 8 pm. This customer left and came back in yelling at her again.
Please recognize this staff member is very customer service orientated and even under the pressure of an agitated and quite rude customer she was very professional, kind and calm. She handled this transaction very well!

I've been shopping at Carrs/Safeway almost my entire 59 year old life. Now it's painful to shop due to exorbitant pricing! Glad I'm not trying to raise a family now, I don't know how anyone can. $18.27 for a can of black olives, a ten slice pack of Canadian bacon and some mozzarella cheese!! Glad I didn't get the can of pineapple as well. This has got to stop.

For over 20 years we have been coming to Alaska, picking up our RV, staying overnight at Carrs and doing our bulk shopping the next morning. This year we were welcomed around 1:00 a.m. woken up by loud bad music. Someone knocked on our RV and a female voice called security. I told my husband not to open it because I thought it was fake. He opened the door and the security lady said we had to leave because no overnight stays were allowed. This has never happened before. We spent the rest of the night at Fred Meyer, where we always shop now.

Deli worker was rude and refused to sell me an eight piece dark chicken combo. All the other workers will they advertise it but she has tried to make me buy the normal eight piece each time. When I ask her why she just say she won’t sell eight piece dark why advertise it if you don’t sell it. All the other carrs never give me any problems. And the other employees there never give me a problem when she is not there.

Went in today for the Shanghai special in the Deli...none of the entrees had vegetables ..why? I love the veggies they put in but apparently that is too much trouble! No chow mien or fried rice..????

We shop your store often when we are in town. We seem to get the same clerk and English is not her 1st language. She doesn't speak to her customers unless we speak first. Obliviously your store no longer bags groceries for their customers and this clerk expected us to reach 2' the get the food. There as absolutely no inter action with customers b4 us either. No wonder the self checkout is so popular in your store. It's a beautiful store to shop but the is NO friendly people on the front line. That's not acceptable for senior and one missing an arm and leg. No offer to get us help. We could have used it. We'll probably skip your store next week when we come to town. Those front line employees are what keeps senior and handicapped customers retuning. Latina was our clerk... never again.

Rediculous prices compared to everywhere else and just like my 1 star review of carrs in seward, the other day there was no cashier lanes open but one with a line that went backed up into the aisleway and only the self checkout alternative available, when do I get my benefits as an employee of carrs for scanning my own groceries?

I really want to give a shout out to Sarah in floral. She helped me find the stargazer lilies I was looking to buy for my friends. She gave them fresh cuts, wrapped them up in paper towel and treated me to her kindness and her beautiful smile. I was grateful for the help.
