Thank you so much for being in Anchorage! My cat peed on my expensive down comforter and my top loading washer couldn’t handle how heavy the blanket was. It caused my washer to flood the floor and hose broke off the washer. The man and woman working there were wonderful. 6 hours later it was ready for pickup, looked brand new without odor and they were incredibly kind! I don’t know if $25 is high or low to have cat pee professionally removed from bedding, but it saved the last bit of my sanity from going out the window. Worth every penny! I will be using them for my dry cleaning from now on. (If you ever want to gift someone with laundry service they charge $1.50 a lb, the average load of laundry is 6-10lbs.)

My cat peed on my expensive down comforter and my top loading washer couldn't handle how heavy the load was. It caused my washer to flood and an actual pipe to come off the washer. (Mind you this all occurred at 2:30am on a work night.) I've driven by this place a bunch but never thought to use it for anything. I was a little embarrassed to bring a fully soaked dry clean only comforter in but the man working here looked at my wet bedding in a garbage bag, said he could make it work and 6 hours later had it ready for pickup. It looked brand new without any odor. Both workers were incredibly kind! I don't know if $25 is high or low to have cat pee professionally removed from bedding, but it saved the last bit of sanity I had today from going out the window. Worth every penny! I will be using them for my dry cleaning from now on. (If you ever want to gift someone with laundry service they charge $1.50 a lb, the average load of laundry is 6-10lbs.)

Now that I no longer have my own washer and dryer, I have been revisiting the Laundromats around town. I used to love DonDees, but since Mr. Don retired, half the machines are broken all the time. If you're looking for a place to manage your laundry that has all different size machines that function properly, and are priced accordingly, then this is the place for you. They have a few GIANT washers and dryers that get SUPER hot which is awesome for linens and quilts. Their pricing system is spot on.This place is no frills. Bring a book or something to occupy yourself. The owners are yin and yang. The husband is the world's nicest dude, the wife appears to be struggling with mental health issues, so be kind to her. I've read some of the comments people have written about her, and they're not very nice. This is a small family business and if you want a reliable place to to your laundry, it's pretty good.Ps- one of the more unusual features is their washer tokens. Dryers use quarters. But the tokens are VERY convenient so you don't have to show up with pockets full of quarters. You just load the machines. Make note of which ones they are, then go to the lady at the counter and you can use cash, credit or debit to purchase the tokens for the machines. Super easy.

It's easy to ignore laundromats until you need them. Our washer fritzed out during a holiday weekend and Cleaning World saved the day. Helpful service and kind owners .Tip for those who haven't been here before: Washers work with tokens. You need $3 (3 tokens) to run a load. The front desk sells these and welcomes debit cards. For dryers, you have to switch to quarters! (Don't put tokens in the dryers! They won't work!) But you can also get your quarters at the front desk (or swap tokens for quarters like I had to do)Plenty of seats for patrons. Old-school cedar decor hasn't changed much since the 80s probably, but that just added to the charm.

I went here today to dry my clothes. Because I live to this area. And this old lady was so disrespectful and mean to me. I ask to change the token that I have from last time but she refused and start complaining about it. After she give me the money she said I'm not allowed to go there anymore. shame I can't give her 0 star because she doesn't deserve one. I'd rather go somewhere else.#BIGNONOTOME!

I love this place because it has one of those machines to run your clothes through after they have been washed to get the extra water out before drying. I line dry all my laundry so this helps tremendously also makes my loads lighter to and from the car.

The place is very homey has hot water and a restroom. The nice owner lady grows amazing flowers, that are in front of the business. They also have very reasonable prices, all the soaps, and its also a dry cleaners and drop off laundry for only a 1.50 a lb.
