Cook Inlet Tribal Council is an amazing HUGE resource center. The employees there are helpful, non-judgemental, and are genuinely there because they want to help people. They are patient, and have no problem walking you through and/or explaining anything they need to. I'm super grateful for this business and all the help that I've received over the years.

What's 10 minutes to close in? They still let us in, and we were able to get upstairs. Sign papers and find out more information. It was quick, they were nice.Overall, great experience.

There are some good ppl that work there. Thank you Kuipo in Alaska native Justice center. Moral reconation therapy. I will hopefully be rejoining that class and look forward to it. Recovery services needs to fine tune their services IMO.

If you are in need of assistance to get back on your feet or in need of a little support and/or guidance to get healthy and sober look them up. They are amazing and caring.

I applied for TANF, SNAP and Covid-19 assistance December 2020. I was denied because they said I can pay my rent by borrowing from my credit line at my bank. I got a letter from the State of Alaska in April 2022 that said my SNAP case was closed in error. I got back benefits from that. When I asked CITC about back benefits from my other applications, they said my time to appeal was over in March 2021. They say they call when they do not. Their communication is very poor. They expected me to borrow against my bank to pay rent. This company is awful and so are the people they hire.

I was blamed for a “lack of communication” and when the front desk of any department it seems, has some trouble even picking up the phone, on top of case managers take vacations as well. I would not recommend “utilizing” any of their services from any department.

Now just with hearsay you can get your services cut off by managers and supervisors even if it's false, and after complaints were made about them.

Great Employment and Training Center Department, which also has a good size Computer Lab for Business and Pleasure. CITC Inc. also offers convenient Childcare located in the building. The company assists Alaskan Native and American Indians in quite a bit of different areas including finding employment, going back to school, apply for services to help pay for Food, Shelter, Bills, Child Care Assistance, Clothing for Seeking Employment, etc. Plus the Staff are Very Friendly, Courteous, and Helpful!!

I applied for assistance August 27th and thyme have been ignoring me and pushing me off since then, they weren't able to make me an appointment until September 30th, so I was able to get screened as a walk in cause I have been calling them everyday, explaining my landlord can't wait until pfds, we have yet to be assigned a case manager when our walk in appt was September 7th a full week ago, I even left a message with a supervisor and No ONE HAS CALLED ME back!!

Excellent place to work. Very diverse staff that treats you like family. Great PTO benefits. I would highly recommend for someone who wants to work for a mission oriented organization. Youth Empowerment Services is the best department to work for, as you get to participate in many fun activities while making a difference on the lives of students.

There's a lot of mismanagement and the leadership doesn't have enough oversight in each department to know what's going on.
