Prices are fair. Policies and procedures are adequate with a couple exceptions. My primary complaint is the fact that if you don't shut off your car at the pump, they harass you about it. In 90% of cases I agree that it is best to turn off the ignition when filling a vehicle at a gas pump, but they take no consideration to weather conditions in regards to this. I've lived in Alaska my whole life, in many different cities, at all times of day. In 19 years of driving and filling at gas stations, I have never, ever been asked to kill the ignition on my vehicle until today. This is the standard in AK. Law or not, police and troopers do not enforce this(much like the "illegal", "off road use only" spot lights and light bars people use to provide visibility of moose during the long, dark winter months), and there are good reasons why they make that choice. The elements and conditions are simply too hazardous too often for it to apply to everyone, all the time. It is accepted by all(except Costco apparently) that those who can reasonably do so will cut the ignition whilst filling their vehicle, and those who do not have cause for making that choice.

Always feels extremely packed with people, but if you go early enough, it's much better. It's still one of our favorite places to shop, great for bulk items, and they carry a lot of our staples. Greeters and cashiers are generally very friendly, too, and of course, our kids love the free samples.

Zachary, one of the customer service team members, might not make it through the holiday season. IMO, he’s already glitching. Very rude when I asked for help and then told me it was my fault he was rude and unwilling to be helpful. yes, Zachary it is my fault being a consumer wanting to shop at Costco…tighten it up please, I’d love to see you in the New Year

Got a chance to hit the Costco up in Toronto and had some poutine at the food court! Can't beat that! As always. Costco is operating a fine tuned well maintained machine. Always a pleasure to shop at Costco!

Came in for 3-5 larger sized items. With my hands completely full I tried to go through Self Checkout and before I was able to ring out this extremely rude lady told me I had to show her my Costco card before I could go through self checkout. I told her I showed it at the front door entering the Costco and she said I’d have to show it again. I asked her if I could set my stuff down at a register and then show her because I couldn’t grab anything (my hands were full; not sure how she could stand in front of me and not notice) and it was extremely obvious. She sneered and said I couldn’t go to a register without showing it to her first. I almost dropped two massive pies and multiple other items trying to juggle them to get my Costco card, and STILL ALSO HAD TO SCAN IT AT THE REGISTER!!!!!I don’t know if I’ll be returning to the Debarr Costco, this one lady is always rude af and snotty and if they HAVE to check your Costco card AGAIN at the self checkout they need to get rid of them or check Costco cards closer at the entrance instead of harassing people. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE DAY BEFORE THANKSGIVING.

10/7/23- I stopped by for a hot dog combo and do some shopping. The deli was out of crushed peppers. The mustard dispensers were both empty. As soon as we reported it the crew was on it. Very impressed with their customer service. The lines to check out were long. It took a little longer than what I'm used to. Great experience!

I had an absolutely disheartening experience at the Debarr location, particularly with the manager, Tim. I was informed by Donna at the self-checkout about a new policy regarding carts. When I asked for clarification, she suggested I speak with a manager. Initially, I had no intention of pursuing the matter further. However, I saw Donna consult with Tim, who appeared to be the manager on duty. When I approached Tim to discuss the new policy, he condescendingly told me it was "common knowledge," exhibiting a demeaning tone that was highly unprofessional. Retraining is clearly needed on how to engage with customers respectfully and informatively.I was already questioning the value of my Costco membership due to consistently poor product quality. This experience has firmly made up my mind to not renew. There's no excuse for treating paying customers with such a lack of courtesy. I strongly urge others to reconsider their choice to shop at this particular location.

It's Costco, cheapest place to buy any groceries and clothes up here. Damn good quality clothes. Cheapest nice mattress. Cat litter. Laundry soap. Idk why anyone would buy anything anywhere else. It's like three times the product same or better quality than Fred's for the same price.

First time here. I saved my receipt from a week ago as Zoa energy drinks went on sale to save $5.50 each. I got $11 back. The policy now is 30 days not 14. I knew I'd be flying back to MN and found m and m bark, Alaskan Reindeer Sausage and a snack mix. These are packed in the carry on. The parking lot was weird with diagonal and one direction parking. In MN, we have vertical parking, and you can enter in both directions. Oh well, no big deal. This Costco had more snack items and was similar to our business center offerings.

You know, I like Costco! That being said I do save a fair amount of money by shopping there! Then again, when I factor in the amount of money I have to spend on Gas to drive to Anchorage from Wasilla and the amount of time spent driving to Costco, I'm not sure that I really save much money! Their selection of items is great! So is their service and the Employee's are quality to say the least! You decide! The pictures say what I think of my Yorkie, Jack!

Good quality merchandise in bulk. A lot of the Kirkland signature brand items are better than any name brand I have found. Gave it four stars because it annoys me that every time I go there the things I am looking for have been moved to different places to force you to walk through the whole warehouse.

Convenient location, friendly staff and it was a clean organized location. This location didn’t seem super big and was super busy. They had all the food and things we needed for our trip and it was quick for us to get in and out. Costco also had tons of samples at this location.

I spend way too much time here. I have a big family and Costco offers quality at an affordable price. The only negative experience I have ever had was regarding a prescription I needed for my child with a life threatening medical condition. The gentleman with a southern accent hung up on me when I nicely asked if I could speak to the person above him.

I love going to Costco with my family. Normally it’s only when we visit. Recently though I made anchorage our home. I’m looking forward to more trips in the near future.
