I stayed at Covenant House when it was on F St. Way back in the winter of 2000. They helped me with job search clothes and helped me save money and get off streets. I was there about 3 months. I also got to meet Francis Thomas HurleyWho was the Archbishop of Anchorage at the time.

I was contemplating about posting this review, but I’ve come into contact with an employee by the name of Patty recently and I’ve watched her converse with the other employees. She’s very rude, bossy and aggressive, highly unprofessional. Watching her act this way out in the open made me very uncomfortable and doubtful about whether or not this was a safe place for me. I also felt really bad for the other employees.

Love the staff. It's really nice. Most adolescents are nice if you're nice back

Absolute trash company. They allow people with MANY driving violations and infractions on their record to drive company vehicles who then cause accidents. State funded and should be shut down. Pathetic company that can't even reach out to the victim of a crash, that their employee caused, to make sure the victim is okay or to apologize.

Covenant House Alaska doesn't deserve not a single star. Everyday I witnessed kids who lives there enjoying their freedom of underage drinking, smoking cannabis, vandalism, littering and disturbing the peace. After their routines are done, they rest and replenished in cove-house and does the same thing the following day. It is sad that the Municipality of Anchorage does not see this happening or morelikely they are ignoring it. They are neglected kids that I don't see good future in them. I also assume that APD does not care about these kids. Incidents were reported to the APD and their alibi is they are busy. This needs to be changed.

Does great work for at risk and homeless youth! I was quite well impressed with their lobby/reception area. Staff helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable.
