Most of my banking is done online and not in person but needless to say when problems arise a visit to the bank is needed. This is the problem that I encountered a few months ago. Got a notice that my home had a lien on it for a loan that was not paid in a very high amount of .76. Yes that is not a mistake it was for 76 cents. We went in to investigate this matter a while back and they told us we owed nothing on this loan and this is why we didn’t worry about it. When they changed their name our automatic payments were cancelled and we was never told of this. They dropped the ball on us and the manager was no help in trying to help with the additional forty something dollars we owed to get our home free of a lien. I can go in the parking lot and find 76 cents. What fool would let their house go into alien for such a small amount of money?Bad business tactics. How many others have they done this to?

I shop at Carr's almost daily and get quarters for laundry at Nuvision. Today I asked for 40 worth of quarters for laundry and the teller asked me if I was a member and I said no, so she said no quarters for you. She said they didn't sell quarters to non members. So I went to Alaska USA and bought them. Why would I want to be a member of NuVision? Their response here is lame. Obviously NuVision does not know that Alaska USA has a branch next door and they do not care if you are a member or not if you want to use cash to buy rolls of quarters. I bank at Key Bank and they NEVER ask me if I have an account there if I want to buy quarters with cash. I think Nuvision is trying to drum up business but turning away prospective customers is a d*** way to do business. I will never join this CU. I have an account at Key Bank and they NEVER ask people to 'join' in order to do business there. NuVision is lame.

I've heard mixed reviews about this branch but I have always had great service here. I've had a few issues with NuVision in general since they took over Denali but the ladies at this location have always treated me well and gone out of their way to assist me.

I love the staff here. Always beding over backwards to help my family. We have gone through multiple loans with them and we have always been satisfied. If you get a chance, use this team for your next loan/banking needs.

Marie, Nina, and Ann, are amazing bank tellers. Always have a smile on their face and are so helpful and understanding, even when I come in with confusing questions they help me through it. Their friendly attitudes are what keeps me coming back to Nuvision Credit Union. Love their amazing help!!!

I recently added myself to my elderly disabled fathers bank account because after having this branchs notary sign a POA the same branch wouldn't recognize this document as reason to access his account. Why notarized if its not accepted? Then when I went back to drop off forms they requested for account. The teller had the nerve to ask "what I was doing there? Did I even have an account here?" I feel like she stereotyped me off the bat because. I'm native and did listen too a word I said. Hurts my feelings when people treat me differently.

I am going to take my money out of this bank and go elsewhere. Horrible customer service! I was there yesterday about a new atm card that was not working. The teller stated it wasn't activated (although I activated it). She did something, then asked me to check the atm card by requesting a balance at the atm to see if it now worked. It did. I started to request cash (which is the secondary reason for visiting the bank), and then told her I would just get it out of the atm. For The time it took for me to discover the atm card still did not work to dispense cash, the branch had closed. The teller was still by her desk. I told her the card still did not work. The manager came out...& again I told her I just needed $200... thinking she could do this b4 closing out the teller drawer. She didn't help me- just had me try again exactly as I had before at the atm. Of course it didn't work. So I asked if I could get the cash and she said no... they were closed. Started saying something while entering back into the back, mumbled as she walked away, never to be seen again. Atm card still not fixed (surprise! Surprise! I don't think I've had a debit or an atm card that has worked for more than a month from this bank!), no cash. Horrible customer service.

Worst experience yet, the teller no joke was more useless than a p*** flavored lollipop, wasted 20 minutes of my time, acting and talking like that had no idea who or what they were even doing, it's just another branch that has lost my service.

Fee hungry credit union with the worst customer service in the state. They are awful at posting payments. They love fees. They are not interested in making things right when they make a mistake. Also, their technology is decades behind similar financial institutions. It's a credit union that is run like a big, greedy bank. I do not recommend Denali. Or Nuvision.

For a previous version. They suck now. Merged with a Southern California bank for that epic lack of service.
