I previously had an account here. Today I had to deposit a check into someone’s account and it took me 25 minutes to deposit one check. As I sat there, five cars in the lane beside me came and left before I was able to receive my receipt for my transaction. This is absolutely ridiculous. My advice for anyone would be to bank elsewhere unless you want to be told you by lobby tellers that 4 rolls of quarters is reserved for “businesses only.” Save your time and money. This bank is a joke compared to anywhere else.Edit:Thank you for your reply, it will not let me respond but customer service for this business has never been a top priority. That is the reason me and my significant other have took our money elsewhere because of the constant lack of customer service. This is NOT the first time this has happened. It happens to everyone. Your company does nothing but push under the rug. What ever happened about my “lost night deposit?” Or did nobody figure that out either. How am I supposed to trust a bank when my deposit disappears out of a secure area? It reflects this company is a disgrace and will never change. Especially with a comment of “we prioritize customer service and satisfaction” that is a lie. Actions reflect on that.

Horrible customer service I have had several problems with this bank. I am actually wanting to close my account due to this branch. I went to the branch over by the Providence Hospital and they were amazing. Excellent customer service were very nice people. I think this branch needs to take classes from the other branch. Never helpful in anything. I live right next to the this location and have to go all the way over to east side of town or midtown it’s ridiculous. I will be closing my account due to you guys so well done ??

Y'all really need to update your displayed hours of business on Google to reflect holidays. I saw Google said you were open, I take the time, effort and spend the precious gas to drive all the way over there so I can pay rent. Turns out, y'all are closed because today is a holiday. Not an everyone holiday, just a bank holiday. So to me, it's a normal day, and Google doesn't say any different.I would have loved to have just gone home after work today, but instead I wasted precious time and precious gas driving in rush hour traffic, getting stressed out by the roads, and when I finally get there, y'all are closed. I'm pretty frustrated. There's no point in having a Google profile if you aren't going to put it to any use. Start displaying your holiday hours, especially since you guys get special holidays that the rest of us have to miss out on.

The bank manager is very rude. I called the branch and she answered. She was not pleasant to talk to and had zero customer service skills. I had a question about transfer options. She was very adamant about answering my questions and did not focus on what I was trying to ask but instead kept insisting the only way I can transfer funds to another branch is by wiring or writing a check. I was trying to ask about Bill Pay as an option and had to pull her leg to get her to focus on my question. Such a shame but typical for a manager not to hold themselves to the same standards as their friendly under staff.

My mother recently passed away so I had to transfer her $ into an estate account. I requested a few extra checks as I was only given three. The Teller and Supervisor advised me that they would charge me $1 per check. I was flabbergasted. My parents have banked with FNBA for probably more than 50 years. I have never paid for counter checks elsewhere yet they wouldn’t waive the fee for long time customers! Needless to say, I did NOT pay for the checks….out of principal.

They must enjoy their jobs because everyone is smiling whenever I walk in no matter what branch. I have banked at FNBA for decades and will continue to do so.

Terrible customer service. They talked to me like I was a child. Extremely patronizing tone, strange frowning for no reason, and racially discriminatory undertones. I will never open an account with this bank. Disappointing.

FNBA is great Alaskan home Grown Business, I have several bank accounts with FNBA some for over 50 years, the bank is always been honest and treated me fairly with me or my business only one issue in 50 years. Where some one stolen my FNBA check book and wrote bad checks on it, because i did not catch problem and notifier to FNBA with in 30 days, they would not reimburses my losses, that was my error, i should have known the bank policies. But again they have very responsive to my needs and are very professional operation. I would highly recommend FNBA.

This bank is a joke!! They take 20 minutes to process my payment or transactions, put the money in wrong accounts I got rid of this bank and don't recommend using it if you want efficiency and consistency!! They are slow and can't listen to basic requests!!
