Had a bad experience with management when I was trying to locate a missing check. I introduced myself over the phone and they said, "How am I supposed to know who you are???????"...Um? That's why I'm introducing myself and my situation. Extremely rude and condescending. Thanks management.

I generally shop at carrs(Safeway), but my wife wanted me to bring the son to her work and Fred Meyers was next door so I decided to take a trip to a store that I normally don't visit nor do I care too.
Every year it seems they change the layout and it gets harder to find something that I want every time.
Parking is generally adequate at best, personally I feel they could use more parking.
I had a rather unpleasant experience due to the way product was stacked on shelves when I removed an object another one fell from a higher stack falling to the floor creating a big slippery/ slick mess of peaches and peach juice, I let an associate know about the problem he Shrugged and didn't seem that responsive to it.
Prices are moderate up here in Alaska we will pay pretty much the standard price and they're usually within a dollar(+ or -) of any of their other competitors.
As it goes for actual products on the Shelf there's a wide variety whether it be healthy foods or unhealthy Foods clothing name brand or off brand they carry pretty much everything.
there's even a small Hardware section for the DIY home user don't expect to find large items, but for the quick trip around the corner just to get something to hang a picture or other small Hardware needs.

It would have been better if several employees on ladders didn't follow us around and block us from shopping while they did inventory. In three different aisles they descended upon us like locusts. Not even an "excuse us" or "sorry for the inconvenience." I get they have a big difficult job to do, but it was very annoying and disrespectful.
The checkout guy did not bag our groceries. He just watched as we bagged four bags of groceries by ourselves.
I guess decent customer service just isn't a thing anymore. I'm removing another star because you made me sound like my grumpy father!
Otherwise, we found the store to be very well stocked and organized. The meat counter was particularly impressive. Their butcher clearly knows his stuff and takes pride in his work.

Great place to get groceries and household items. Parking lot is less crazy than the other big stores nearby. Compared to Walmart, their selection is better, prices are similar and the shopping experience is much more pleasant.

Get a better return policy. Tried to return two things that were never worn with nothing wrong and they would not accept them just outside their return date. Not buying clothes here any longer and I used to shop here a lot for carharts. Carrs has cheaper groceries anyway.

I live nearby and stop in often. Shocked and disappointed that the parking lot is being torn up and most of the handicapped spaces have been torn up as well the week before the 4th of July!! Have to go to the Abbott store now as this one is a MESS. Bad timing.

Good location, I just like the one on Abbot road just a little better. Closer to my house and I prefer that layout. Don't have a problem with this location though and will shop there.

Employees benefits suck.They say the employee gets time off for two weeks with pay and then denied it after they come back to work. What's wrong with this picture?
